Lilian rarely involved herself directly in their fights. Most of the time she simply watched from the side, observing everything with indifference or annoyance. But now she stepped forward and offered to help them.
"The wall is too strong for you," she said calmly.
None of them doubted her words. If anything, they felt relieved to hear that she was willing to intervene. Lilian had already shown glimpses of her power before. If she said the wall was beyond their strength, then it probably was.
Samantha raised a hand slightly. "Do you know anything about the wall?"
Lilian glanced at it again before answering.
"It's not just stone," she said. "The structure is reinforced with high-tier spells. With your current strength you could eventually destroy it, but it would take a very long time."
She gave a small sigh.
"I don't want to waste time here." Her voice became firmer. She said, "So let's start."
A moment later Lilian spread her jet-black wings.
