A huge amount of black blood burst out of Jun's mouth at once. It splattered directly onto the ground. The same thick, poisonous black blood was also slowly leaking from the wound in his chest as if the blood inside him was no longer blood at all, but rotten venom spreading from within.
Jun struggled to turn his head but the moment he moved the lady wasted no time. She kicked him so hard in the back that his entire body was launched into the air and thrown straight toward the crowd in front of him.
He crashed down violently. Jun's mouth opened and even more black blood spilled out. His breathing had turned heavy. Inside his chest, where the blade had pierced him, he could feel something burning deep in the flesh.
As if the poison wasn't just entering his blood but his bones, nerves, and cells as well. The lady calmly walked toward him. The sound of her boots echoed slowly in Jun's ears.
Like death itself was walking closer. She stopped right beside him. Jun lay on the ground, gasping for breath, while black blood still dripped from the corner of his mouth. She looked down at him coldly. Then spat on him.
"Do you know who I am?" she asked in a slow, soft voice.
Jun tried to look at her but his eyes couldn't even focus properly anymore. The lady grabbed his hair and lifted his head slightly.
"I am the Poison Queen of Icolis."
A faint, soft smile appeared on her lips,"And the poisons I possess… no one has the antidote for them."
Jun tried to rise. His hand scraped against the ground but the moment he tried to force himself up both his arms collapsed lifelessly again.
The poison had begun locking his body from the inside. His entire body was slowly going numb. Jun lowered his eyes toward his suit.
The Red Eye suit… even it was being affected. The red and metallic glow across the armor was slowly turning black. As if the poison was rotting even the metal. A dark layer was spreading over the suit's joints, chest plates, and forearm guards.
From inside the armor, distorted crackling sounds were beginning to emerge. The lady placed her foot directly on his face. Jun's breathing stopped for a moment.
"You don't even have enough power to stand against me," she said as she leaned over him.
Then she glanced around,"And on top of that… you destroyed my shelter."
Her voice became even colder,"What did you think? That I wouldn't know?"
Jun wanted to say something but his lips barely moved, no sound came out. The poison had already reached his lungs. The lady looked into his eyes and probably understood that he was already standing on the edge of death.
But she didn't care. She simply pressed her foot down harder. A faint cracking sound came from the Red Eye armor over Jun's face. His eyes widened in pain. This time, his scream was so sharp that for one second, even the people standing around fell silent.
But it didn't end there. The very next moment the lady delivered a brutal kick straight into Jun's stomach. His entire body folded. It felt as if his spine, ribs, and everything inside his abdomen had shifted at once.
Even more black blood burst from his mouth like a fountain. This time, his scream didn't even come out properly. Only a broken, crushed sound escaped him.
He tried to hold his stomach but his hands were no longer fully under his control. His body had now become nothing more than a living piece of pain. Breathing felt like blades were being pushed into him from the inside with every inhale.
The black blood from his chest wound kept flowing deeper into the suit. The toxic liquid from his mouth had already spread across his neck and collar. The Poison Queen stood over him in complete calm.
As if all of this was just normal for her. Then she slowly moved her foot upward closer to his throat. Just enough for Jun to understand clearly if she wanted to… she could crush his neck in a second. Jun's eyes slowly began to close halfway. His vision blurred. The people standing around said nothing. They were looking at him as if he was already dead.
Then the lady the one who had called herself the Poison Queen turned to the people around her and said,"Tie him up and hang him above. So next time, anyone who thinks of destroying this shelter will think a hundred times first."
