Jun sat down beside the dead body of the peacock alien. The forest was now silent. The electric aura had faded, and only a faint smell of burnt feathers lingered in the air. He opened his bag and took out the bodies of the Stone Turtle and the White Leopard.
Jun took a deep breath. Let's see… how useful this new ability really is. He placed his hand on the leopard's body and activated Antidote Secretion. At once, a faint glowing liquid began to form at the tips of his nails. Jun touched the leopard's body. The liquid reacted instantly. The poison started getting pulled out like it was being dragged by a magnet.
Jun maintained his concentration. The process was slow. After some time, a dark violet liquid began to gather on the snow. That was the poison that had spread through the leopard's body from the Stone Turtle's venom. It took nearly half an hour. Finally, Jun pulled his hand back. The leopard's body was now clean.
"Done," Jun said softly.
He took out his knife and cut the leopard's body into small pieces. Then he placed those pieces in front of the baby leopard. The baby stared at the pieces for a few seconds. Then it slowly stepped forward and started eating. Jun watched quietly.
"Good… you'll gain some energy," he said with a faint smile.
Now it was Jun's turn. Humming lightly, he walked toward the peacock alien's body and bent down to pick it up. But his hand stopped mid-air. The peacock alien's body was gone. Jun immediately stood up straight.
He looked around,"How is this possible?"
Then he noticed something else. The Stone Turtle's body was also missing. Jun slowly turned his gaze toward Red Eye. She was standing a little distance away. There was fresh blood on her mouth.
Jun said in a slightly sarcastic tone,"Glutton… you could've left something for me."
Red Eye remained calm.
She replied directly,"Master… what about the alien bodies still inside your bag?"
Jun looked at her. Then a small laugh escaped him,"If you were in Elysira… who knows how many you would've already devoured."
Red Eye didn't reply. Jun opened his bag and took out another alien body. He searched around for a while, gathered some dry wood, and started a small fire. Then he began roasting the alien meat.
After some time, it was properly cooked. Jun started eating. The taste was unusual, but on Icolis, survival mattered more than taste. After eating, his virtual card flashed.

"Slow… but progress," he said quietly. He extinguished the fire and stood up. The baby leopard now looked slightly more energetic after eating. Jun gently picked it up and placed it on his shoulder.
"Let's move."
He sent Red Eye back for now. The forest path was rough. As he walked, he kept practicing his Mimic Ability. He had already unlocked all the tiers from that book, allowing him to hold any copied power as long as he had enough energy.
Jun kept walking for a long time. He was drenched in sweat. Finally, night began to fall. The sky turned dark, and visibility dropped significantly. Jun stopped in an open field. He looked around, but due to the darkness, nothing was clearly visible.
Jun decided not to waste time. He collected some soil and plant samples from the ground and stored them in his bag. After a while, he also gathered some unknown plants and leaves for sampling. They could be useful for uncle frank research. After few hours the sky was now clear. The stars looked unusually bright.
Jun spotted a large tree,"Let's rest here."
He climbed the tree and sat on a strong branch. He settled the baby leopard beside him. Then he summoned Red Eye.
"Red Eye," Jun said softly,"can you patrol until morning?"
Red Eye appeared instantly,"Yes, Master. I will secure the area."
Jun nodded,"Good"
He leaned against the branch and closed his eyes. After a full day of training and traveling through the mountains, he was exhausted. Within minutes, he fell asleep. The night passed silently.
In Morning, Jun felt a strange heavy weight. As if something was sitting on him. His eyes slowly opened. And what he saw made him instantly fully awake.
