Chapter 159 - Chapter 159 Portal Key, Eye of Ender!

Everything he knew came from his master's teachings; he only knew they were a mysterious and powerful group.

Now that he finally had the chance to see a statue, he had intended to pay his respects.

But before he could even get a good look, the statue actually moved?

"As expected of a creation by those seniors—it can even move!"

Growing even more curious, the Wandering Mage scrutinized the Architect more closely.

He looked him up and down, even going so far as to poke his shoulder.

The Architect finally couldn't help but speak up.

"What 'creation'? I'm not a corpse; of course I can move."

Glancing at the Wandering Mage, the Architect turned and walked away.

Regardless of which chunk he came from or what high-level being he was, Galen Yu had saved him, and he was loyal only to Galen Yu.

As for status or identity, the Architect couldn't care less.

Hearing this, the Wandering Mage stood stunned for a long while until he watched the Architect disappear into the distance.

Only then did it click, his mind reeling.

"You... you're not a statue! You're alive!"

"Iron People Chunk, Novice-level Mage..."

Mid-sentence, the Wandering Mage realized the other man was already long gone.

Looking at Galen Yu and then at the Architect's retreating back, he was completely dumbfounded.

A single chunk couldn't have two masters. Since Galen Yu was the Chunk Lord, then this man must be...?

His jaw dropped, unable to find words. The Wandering Mage was utterly shocked.

He thought having a statue in Galen Yu's chunk was impressive enough, but he never expected this.

There was actually a living one?

By seniority, he was at least an ancestor-level figure, yet even someone of that caliber acknowledged Galen Yu as his master.

What was he even supposed to call Galen Yu then?

"That look again. The Black Mage was just as surprised when he saw the Architect."

"What's the Architect's deal anyway? Why does everyone respect him so much?"

"Just look at his skills; he's practically invincible. Look at the things he's built!"

"Mythical structures—the Great Wall, the Dragon Palace—none of them are ordinary!"

"He really lucked out, though it's a pity about the memory loss."

"If he hadn't lost his memory, maybe God Yu would already be the King of Civilization!"

"Damn, to miss out on such a massive opportunity... what the hell happened with Soren Park back then!"

"It was so close! If only Mark had killed the Witch and brought the wooden boat back!"

"Such a powerful character should have belonged to us!"

Listening to the Wandering Mage's description, the viewers gained a new impression of the Architect.

They previously knew he was mysterious and powerful, but they didn't have much detail back then.

Now they knew—they just hadn't realized he was this strong!

A senior figure that even the Black Mage and the Wandering Mage had to bow to in respect.

Moreover, according to the Wandering Mage, there were likely many other powerful, miraculous aspects to him that hadn't been revealed yet.

"Don't be nervous. I saved him from a zombie state, and he's lost his memory."

"Can you tell me more about him?"

Comforting the Wandering Mage, Galen Yu was also a bit curious.

He had realized early on that the Architect was extraordinary and had questioned him many times.

But having been eroded for so long, he truly couldn't remember much. Aside from basic cognitive abilities, he was now fulfilling his construction duties based on instinct.

Faced with the question, the Wandering Mage shook his head.

"I'm sorry, I don't know much either. It's all from a time far too distant from us."

"I only know it's been a very, very long time since they disappeared. To find a trace and save him here..."

As he spoke, the Wandering Mage looked a bit embarrassed.

"Luck is one thing, but your own abilities are outstanding. If it were me, I wouldn't have mastered the magic to bring someone back from a zombie infection..."

To be fair, the Black Mage didn't have it either.

With only a brief understanding and no further information to glean, Galen Yu had to let it go.

There would be plenty of chances to learn about the world after leveling up. He was looking forward to entering the world of the Ice and Fire mod.

A Dragon Knight!

Who wouldn't want to raise a few fierce, handsome dragons that could soar through the sky?

From what he gathered from the Wandering Mage, these weren't just mindless lines of code acting mechanically like in a game.

They were true mystical creatures—magical dragons!

If it were not for the ten-plus days until the Crisis, Galen Yu wouldn't have been able to wait to catch a few and hatch some dragon eggs.

"Wait one night, and then we'll find the Ender Dragon!"

It wasn't suitable to head out in foggy weather, so they had to wait until tomorrow.

In the meantime, Galen Yu began preparing for The End.

The Wandering Mage couldn't find it because he had been searching only in the Overworld, traveling between various chunks.

In reality, to find the Ender Dragon, one had to go to The End, an entirely new dimension.

Besides knowing that, the most important thing was to prepare another item.

The Eye of Ender!

It served two purposes: one was to help locate the End Portal, and the other was to fill in the missing parts on the portal frame.

It was an incredibly important key.

Without this key, no matter how powerful one's methods were, they wouldn't be able to reach The End and find the Ender Dragon.

The prerequisite for crafting an Eye of Ender was an Ender Pearl.

Ender Pearls were easy to find; you just had to kill 'Little Black'—the Endermen.

They could also usually be found in loot chests or traded from villagers.

In the Wandering Mage's words, trading was a gift from the heavens; every villager was born carrying certain items, mostly basic materials.

In the Wandering Mage's words, trading was a gift from the heavens; every villager was born carrying certain items, mostly basic materials.

Their purpose was to be traded, providing growth for others.

But that wasn't entirely the case; if one traded enough and obtained enough Emeralds, there was a chance for a villager to evolve in a certain direction.

Some of the mages he knew had gradually progressed from being villagers, so villagers were extremely important in chunk civilizations.

"Unfortunately, those creatures destroyed that path."

They didn't really need those basic materials, and villagers were expendable to them, so they didn't care.

Cases of treating villagers as food or toys were frequent; without a new generation, the old guard would eventually die out.

This was the dilemma the Wandering Mage faced.

"Can we really find the Ender Dragon?"

Turning his gaze back to Galen Yu, the Wandering Mage was full of doubt.

Sincerely, he truly hoped they could find and kill it, but the difficulty was immense.

He had once joined forces with several other mages to search for it, but they still failed to find any trace, showing just how deeply it was hidden.

There was a gap between ideals and reality, but the Wandering Mage kept his mouth shut, not wanting to dampen Galen Yu's confidence.

At the crafting table, Galen Yu placed an Ender Pearl inside.

If the Crisis had nothing else, it certainly had plenty of monsters.

Occasionally, Endermen would teleport onto the Sky Island, take a couple of looks around, and then be spotted by the patrolling Guard Villagers who would send them to their grave.

With the gun mod fully equipped, ordinary vanilla monsters that hadn't been buffed didn't pose much of a threat to them.

After the Ender Pearl, adding a unit of Blaze Powder would allow him to craft the material he needed.

"The Eye of Ender!"

Looking at the eyeball-like object in his hand, Galen Yu smiled.

It looked similar to an Ender Pearl, but the surrounding color was darker, making it look more like an eye than the translucent pearl.

As long as he had this, he could head to The End and search for the Ender Dragon!
