Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Venti: It's Coming For Me

"So it was sharpened."

At this moment, the group of four had already left the beach at Cape Oath and were walking toward the statue of the seven at Starfell Lake.

Incidentally, it seemed that only Orion could see the Teleport Waypoints, but the light of the statue of the seven and the Anemoculi seemed visible to everyone.

At the moment, Orion was holding Lumine's signature weapon, a Sword with a white body and a slightly golden blade.

To tell the truth, in his past life, Orion had really thought that what Lumine was holding was the Dull Blade. However, he later specifically checked the Dull Blade in his inventory and saw that it was just a plain iron Sword, looking completely different from the one in his hand.

[A youth's dream, the excitement of setting off on a journey—if these two are not sharp enough, then compensate with courage.]

The beautiful flavor text of the Dull Blade left a deep impression on him to this day; truly, just reading the words could give someone a sense of excitement about setting off on a journey.

It was just like how, when he first cooked, he felt a bit disappointed to find that he couldn't just pick up food and throw it all into a pot like in Breath of the Wild, but then immediately felt incredibly excited when he discovered that even different grades of the same dish had distinct flavor text.

Now, holding this signature weapon again, the first thing that came to mind was the eye-catching feeling of having the character selection interface integrated into the animation, and the nostalgia of using his intuition as a veteran player of Breath of the Wild to wander around the beach for a bit and successfully finding the first treasure chest.

"But now, this Sword has lost its power," Lumine suddenly interjected. "If I could still use my previous power, I could fly and enchant the Sword, but now... I can't do anything."

Orion looked back at her in horror.

Are you going to start hacking right at the beginning of the game?

Oh wait, starting off with Skirk and himself, the Giant Spider Oult, as companions, in a sense, it was already hacked.

Returning the Sword to Lumine, Orion had a sudden thought and asked, "Oh, right, Lumine, do you want to take Skirk as your master? She's so strong; even if she teaches you a trick or two, you could become much stronger in the future."

Before Lumine could speak, Skirk suddenly interjected, "I don't take apprentices."

Lumine thought she was being rejected and looked at Skirk a bit like a golden retriever soaked in the rain. But Skirk continued, "I told you, my master will destroy everything related to me, so it's better not to have a direct connection with me if possible. Now that we are travel companions, this relationship is already intimate enough."

Travel companions count as an intimate relationship? You really are something, Skirk.

After Lumine realized she wasn't being rejected, she seemed much happier, and then stepped into thin air and fell off the cliff.

"Traveler!!!" Paimon made a big leap and rushed down, grabbing Lumine's scarf and pulling her back up.

It wasn't that Orion and Skirk didn't have time to react; it was purely that Paimon had already moved, and her actions were truly counter-intuitive. Both of them thought about going down to catch Lumine, but Paimon's thought was actually to pull her up.

As expected of the arm strength that can even keep pushing you into the water to drown you when you aren't allowed to explore the area ahead; Paimon, you're too powerful.

Lumine had also completed the thing every Traveler must do at the start: jumping off a cliff without waiting for Paimon.

Now, panting heavily after nearly falling off the cliff and returning to the Ley Lines, Lumine admired the scenery of Starfell Lake, feeling a different mood, her heart beating fast, full of palpitation.

Is this what it feels like to be alive?

"Traveler, are you okay?" Paimon asked with concern.

"I'm fine... just don't pull my scarf next time."

It turned out that the move just now had tightened Lumine's scarf, and Lumine, who hadn't died from the fall, almost choked to death.

Orion hurriedly came over to soothe Lumine's breath, and incidentally stroked her beautiful back... Strange, how could this back, exposed to wind and sun for a hundred years, be as smooth as Milk? No way, I don't believe it, let me stroke it a few more times.

"Have you touched enough?"

"Sorry." Orion calmly helped Lumine up, then pointed to the statue of the seven in the middle of Starfell Lake: "That is what I was talking about, the way to restore your power."

Lumine then stood up and looked into the distance.

The mysterious and ancient Statue was situated on an island in the middle of the lake where the water was crystal clear. Looking past the Statue, in the distance, amidst swirling mist, a huge ancient city sat amidst the shimmering waves.

...

The Traveler was not drowned in Starfell Lake, because Skirk simply froze the water to cross the lake.

Lumine, having arrived beside the statue of the seven, suddenly had green healing effects appear on her body. She touched her neck in surprise: "This... the feeling of suffocation like a python coiling... is gone!"

Paimon and Skirk looked at their own bodies; they also felt their stamina recovering.

Skirk was very surprised, because she had touched a statue of the seven before, but it didn't have this healing effect.

Orion checked his system panel, and sure enough, Paimon, Lumine, and Skirk were all marked as his teammates, so this mouthful of healing came directly from the Ley Lines.

Orion calmly walked to the side of the Statue and said: "Come, Lumine, try touching the statue of the seven."

Lumine looked at Orion in surprise, and while reaching out, asked: "The healing effect just now wouldn't also be part of what you called the way to restore power, would it?"

Orion shrugged: "It has a tiny bit to do with it; maybe if you are far away from me, there won't be a healing effect."

Skirk was expressionless, but her eyes widened slightly: Huh? Does that mean... from now on, whether I train myself to the brink of death, or train others to the brink of death, they can all be healed immediately through the statue of the seven?

While she was still thinking about the dangerous things in her mind, a sudden storm centered on Lumine swept across the entire Starfell Lake. Paimon was almost blown away, but Skirk was quick-handed and grabbed her back. After thinking for a moment, she decided to hold her in her arms first; at least that would keep her fixed in place.

On the other side, Orion smiled while watching Lumine, whose body was gradually lighting up with cyan light: "How is it? Did you gain some power?"

Lumine looked at her hands in shock: "Power has indeed returned a little, but... the nature is different. It's not that a fraction of the power has returned, but rather it feels more like a portion of the power has been refracted to conform to the laws followed by this world."

"Don't bite off more than you can chew; being able to restore some is good. The light realm power of Teyvat is refracted into seven colors, and as the Fourth Descender, you possess the uniqueness to contain all types of power in Teyvat. The power you have now is the Anemo Element among them." Orion said, while patting the statue of the seven nearby.

The next second, the heavens and earth changed color.

The entire sky gradually turned black, as if ink had been spilled, and began to rotate continuously with the statue of the seven as the center.

The air pressure dropped sharply: 1030hPa, 1000hPa, 950hPa, 890hPa.

At the same time, the surrounding Anemo Element energy began to become restless, visible to the naked eye! The wind speed began to climb continuously!

10 meters per second, 12 meters, 15 meters, 20 meters, 28 meters; the eye of the typhoon gradually formed, and it continued to race towards a level 12 typhoon!

Orion looked at the typhoon eye in the sky: "Ah, damn, come to think of it, I am the fifth descender."

Skirk looked at the typhoon that was about to form in the sky in just a few seconds, then looked at Orion, whose hand was still on the statue of the seven. She directly grabbed Lumine and Orion, opened a spatial rift from the side, and entered the Abyss space; only then did the storm in the sky gradually dissipate.

...

Stormterrors Lair.

Dvalin, stained with poisonous blood, suddenly opened its eyes wide. It raised its huge dragon head to look in the direction of Mondstadt, and bursts of dragon roars came from its throat. Then, it suddenly opened its dragon maw and let out a roar: "Barbatos! After a hundred years, you summon me, yet you demonstrate such power to me! Do you want to fight to the death with me!

Fine, then what is there to meet about!

This time, I will—trample Mondstadt!!!"

On the other side, located in the forest, a bard dressed in green, with a beautiful appearance and a pair of white-stockinged legs that could even become the enlightenment for some male compatriots, watched the typhoon that suddenly appeared and disappeared in the distance, his eyelids suddenly twitching.

Why does it feel like things have suddenly taken a turn for the worse?
