The Mart Force Invasion
In the greatest amount of fear, pain, and grief, Og ran through the intertwined trees, dipping his legs into the dark Fire Lotus, which emitted the faintest light, barely illuminating his path. Suddenly, they emerged from the shadows, surrounding him. Hoods and cloaks concealed their faces, but their nails were visible in the darkness—long like sabres, sharp enough to tear flesh with ease.
Og froze.
As he realized what was happening, his fear multiplied a hundredfold, and the pain coursing through his body intensified. One of the creatures stepped closer, then closer again, holding him tight. It slammed his back against a tree and raised its claws. They pierced him like knives.
Og: (crying out) "Ahhh!"
The creature immediately flung him back, and Og hit the ground hard. He groaned, barely clinging to life, his body on the verge of collapse. He was almost comatose.
Then cameThen came footsteps.
A figure emerged—a man in the darkest hood, emanating a majestic aura that matched every calm, confident step he took. His eyes were hidden behind a mask, yet his presence radiated power. The monsters around him bowed as he passed.
He approached Og, who lay half-dead, and glared at the cloaked beings that seemed to be his men.
Zadok: (in a foreign language) "With him out of the way…"
(Switching to English) "Mart Force… you are next."
Immediately, Og was lifted off the ground with immense force.
Ryan (Narration):
I am Ryan and these are my friends: Ely, Alicia, and Iriel. We were affected by Marthardonian DNA, something that made us the unexplainable… the mysterious. Not only were our bodies altered, but we were drawn into something enormous, unbelievable, and dangerous. The Marthardonian DNA made us… The Mart Force.
At Dr. Griss High School, Ryan and Ely were deep into the school's ball training session. Four players per side, dunks landing one after another, their skills showing remarkable coordination. After a while, the coach blew the final whistle. They stopped and exchanged friendly congratulations.
Coach: "Krueger, Vins… can I have a moment?" (He smiled, his dark skin glowing in the afternoon light, the crooked grin of a man who had led Dr. Griss High for ten years.) "Nice job out there, boys. Meet me in the afternoon for the next session."Ryan and Ely: "Yes, sir!" (in a military tone)
The coach walked away, his whistle swinging from his neck. Ryan and Ely were about to high-five when Alicia and Iriel approached.
Iriel: "Hi guys."
Ely: (shocked) "Whoah!"
Alicia: "You guys are really good at this."
Ryan: "Thanks. But since when have you guys been here?"
Iriel adjusted her hair behind her ears, smoothing the loose black mini-gown she wore. Alicia wore a mini skirt, a black jacket, and a sleeveless crop top. Both shimmered with beauty.
Iriel: "Since the time you started dunking."
Ely: (stylishly) "Wow."Alicia: "We thought we'd treat you guys. Silvae's."
Iriel and Ryan: "Silvae's?"
Ryan: "What in the world is that?"
Ely: "You guys still have a lot to learn inthis school."
Ryan: "This is our third week, actually."
Alicia: "Just give us five minutes. Iriel, want to come?"
Iriel: "Maybe." (hesitant, she followed Alicia)
In the fortress, Hazel and Kylock watched the rolling "M" sign on the screen after the ominous message.
Hazel: "What kind of message was that?"
Kylock: "An ominous one."Hazel gave him a sharp, fearful stare.
Hazel: "We need to contact the force."
She walked away.
Iriel and Alicia arrived at Silvae's, a student-friendly snack bar lit with bright bulbs forming its name.
Alicia: "Welcome to the legendary Silvae's."
Iriel: (skeptical) "So much for your hype."
Alicia: "You haven't seen anything yet, newbie."
She pulled Iriel inside. The interior was simple—tables and chairs, with "Silvae's" inscribed around.
Iriel: "It's still the same as all bars."
Alicia: "But you haven't tasted the drinks."A heavyset black woman in an apron approached them.
Alicia: "Hi Miss Im."
Miss Im: (smiling) "How are you? You weren't here last week."
Alicia: "Uh… school stuff." (hesitant)
Miss Im: "I hope it's nothing worse."
Alicia: "Not at all… Miss Im, this is my friend Iriel, a freshman. Iriel, meet Miss Im, queen of all waiters here."
Iriel: "Nice to meet you, ma'am."
Miss Im: "And you, dear. So, what's your order?"
Alicia: "Two cups."
Iriel raised an eyebrow—they had planned to buy four. Alicia signaled her to relax.
Miss Im: "Thanks to our BOGO promo, you'll get four."Alicia: "Thanks!" (smiling, impressed)
Miss Im: "Thank Silvae's, kid."
Alicia leaned toward Iriel.
Alicia: "Now you know why it's the best."
Iriel: "Because of the promo?"
Alicia: "Bingo."
They laughed together.
Then the ground trembled.
An earthquake shook everything. Time seemed to stop. In front of them, an AI-like figure appeared.
Iriel & Alicia: "Wow…"
Iriel: "What are you?" they weren't really surprised cause the strangest things had been happening to them this days
Messenger Board: "I am a Messenger Board from Hazel."Alicia: "You mean… from Marthadon?"
Messenger Board: "I had no other way to relay this message. She needs you at the fortress."
Alicia and Iriel were the only ones left in motion.
Messenger Board: "Preparing teleportation sequence—"
A portal opened.
Iriel: "Uh… so fast."
Alicia: "What about the others?"
Messenger Board: "My other personality will handle that. Once we're gone, your timeline will resume."
They stepped through the portal
Iriel :(she whispered in Alicia's ears) what about the vae's
Alicia :we would come back for it (with these same tone they stepped into the portal which seemed more like they were making a decision than just teleporting)
.At the fortress, Ryan and Ely were already there when Iriel and Alicia arrived in the teleportation device which opened as soon as they got there)
Alicia: "This place feels… alive."
Ryan: "Better than the last time we came."
Hazel emerged from the automated door. She wore a black kameez, with an inner cloth bearing the "M" sign. Kylock followed, his glowing blue skin and green eyes making him stand out. His long black-and-blue hair and the three dots on his forehead gave him a unique presence he was like an age mate with Hazel with his differences the looks proofed that
Hazel: "Meet your captain… Kylock."(her tone had a mix of humility and a bit militancy
Ryan: "Field commander, you mean?"
Hazel: "You can say that."
Iriel and Alicia rushed forward.
Iriel: "I'm Iriel
Alicia: "I'm Alicia."
They smiled uncontrollably. Even Kylock looked confused about whom to respond to first.
Kylock: "Hazel told me a lot about you guys."
Ryan: "I'm Ryan."
Ely: "I'm Ely, cap. We'll have time to know each other better. I'm always available for that."
Hazel: "Enough introductions. Let's move to the main matter."(this was the militant style she introduced unlike the first time they met, hostile but she actually cared)
She tapped the large screen.
"Four Nesas ago…"
The group stared, confused.
Kylock: "Four days?"
Ely: "Wow…"Hazel: "Message with an unknown sender hit Marthadon's satellite with a warning. (it was audioed not visual)
The message said: 'Mart Force… prepare for an invasion. Something big and dangerous is coming. You are about to be attacked by—'"
The message cut off abruptly.
Hazel: "And that was it, it seems like it was from a long distance and that was the cause of it visual defects
Kylock: "The danger isn't the warning… it's what came next."
Hazel: "Two Nesas ago, the Athrakanian caravan—"
Iriel: "Caravan?"
Hazel: "It was attacked by these creatures."
The Death Allies appeared on screen—monsters from the first sight who attacked Og
Ely: "What are those things?"
Kylock: "No one knows. We only know they're dangerous to Marthadon., their attack on the Athrakanian caravan stated that clearly
Hazel: "And now, they're attacking again. That's why we called you."
Ryan: "To stop them."
Kylock: "Yes. We're the only ones who can."
Ely: "This is happening fast."(he whispered in Ryan's ears , he wasn't aware of what was ahead to him just like every other movie, first missions were always smooth and easy surely he met the stark contrast of his expectations
Hazel showed suits similar to hers for them. A vibrational ray clothed them in black superhero-like suits with an M sign on it chest without a kameez
Hazel :I found out you guys won't be able to go into Marthadon with Jean and jackets
Ryan :you've got to be kidding me (aghast)
Ely :this is astounding
Hazel :initiate suits (immediately the suits were upon them)
Alicia: "Everything here is different."
Kylock: "You can say that."
Hazel: "Are you ready?"(the militant side had kicked in again)
Kylock :we don't have much time before those things consume a whole caravan
Iriel: "Literally."Kylock activated teleportation,Hazel gave Kylock a "protect them with your life" look and he nodded in response, they arrived in Marthadon. The green land, purple skies, and massive electrical plants made it feel alien yet real.The deeply purple skies emphasize reality, this place was real and had the same realistic essence as Earth even though they had different composition, but it was surely a world, not a joke appeasing views but an unappealing situation that was the typical world Marthadon is
Ely: (staring around) Wow.
Iriel: Uhm, are we not supposed to land in some kind of battlefield or somewhere that really needs help?
Kylock: This thing would navigate our way. (Looking at a device on his wrist like a watch.) Everybody follow me.
(They followed their captain, looking around as if expecting something to happen and in awe. After a while of moving forward, he stopped abruptly.)
Ryan: I think we won't be needing that, cos that is where we are going. (Pointing forward, the others looked in that direction and beheld destruction; there were blue and pink flames licking the licking the abodes of the innocent.)
Kylock: Everyone split in twos, right and left, leave the middle for me. (With the speed of a speedster he ran off, the only thing they could see when he ran were the blue electrical stripes coming out from him.)
Ely: Don't tell me I just saw a flash. (Thunderstruck by the view.)
Ryan: And he said we should dispatch. (They practically were dumb of what they should do to them this was still something easy, they all moved majestically forward to the battlefield, the real deal.) Why didn't we notice he was a speedster?
(Talking as if he was in the safest place, but the Death Allies were already around them. Large claws, monstrous physiques, beastful eyeballs—it was as if they wore dark cloaks. Their mouthparts were like that of a vampire, their essence like that of a zombie. Their attributes really complementedtheir name "Death Allies." Truly they were one. The Quaternions didn't notice a thing, except for Alicia, who noticed when they were getting surrounded by a lot of them.)
Alicia: Guys, guys! (She yelled.)
Ely: Wha… to in the world— (He stammered as he saw what was before them, beforehand it was like a movie to them, but now they knew this wasn't one of those; it was real., the sudden chills which rushed through thier spines was a proof of fear the cold breeze freezing thier aforehand courage was an evidence of phobia thier hearts were beating fast not out of romantic emotions but out of the elements of phobia right in front of them
Iriel: We are surrounded already.
Ryan: These things are worse in real life than on camera. Uhm, Hazel, don't you have anything you know could help us?
Hazel: (Through the comms) You need to summon your organic weapons.(she was expecting much from them than this fearful looks)
Ely: You said what?
Hazel: Your organic weapons. You have to summon them
.Iriel: I don't think we summon those things—they only come when we are in danger.
Hazel: And you are in one right now. You have to summon them.
Alicia: I don't think too much talking would solve this.
