I frowned, hands crossed over my chest in annoyance as we weaved our way through the hospital halls.
"I don't know why we're doing this," I mumbled. "I'm fine."
Rowan ignored me as he had been doing for the past hour.
I complained the entire time I ate breakfast and even made a big deal of sitting cross legged on the bed after, exercising my right to refuse treatment. Rowan just stared at me blankly and threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
The next thing I knew, we were on our way to the hospital.
"You may have forgotten but I have learned under pack doctors," I hissed to my mate. "I am fine. I know I am."
He led me into a large hospital room; the same one from before I realized.
The doctor stood in the middle of the room, hands clasped behind him respectfully. He bowed low once he noticed our presence.
"Welcome," he said with a smile. "Please come in."
"I apologize for the impromptu visit," Rowan began smoothly. "It was urgent."
