Between learning and worrying, Adrian made it to the end of the semester.
At the end-of-term feast, Dumbledore spoke in his usual manner in the Great Hall. The young wizards in the various houses were drowsy, and not many people even cared about the ownership of the House Cup.
Even second-place Slytherin had long since given up the idea of competing. There was no help for it, the gap between the two sides was really too big.
However, the young wizards in Gryffindor were still very interested. After Dumbledore announced the ownership of the House Cup, they all clapped their hands and looked proudly at the Slytherins at the opposite long table. This was the first time they'd won by an overwhelming advantage.
Adrian also received a lot of attention during this process, but he was occupied with the mouse he'd just caught and didn't have time to care.
The study of the Patronus Charm had entered a small bottleneck, and ordinary practice or reading had little effect. So Adrian was going to practice Transfiguration first.
Just like when they'd arrived, after signing the school leaving agreement, the huge Hagrid led the first-year students to Hogsmeade Station.
Looking at Hogwarts Castle getting further and further away, the system prompt finally sounded in Adrian's mind.
[Ding!]
[This school year is over. Do you want to make a school year summary?]
'Yes!' Adrian said silently in his heart.
When results were announced before, Adrian had wondered why the system didn't respond with rewards. It turned out the summary reminder only came when leaving school.
[As of today, your performance this school year is as follows...
Class evaluation: Excellent
Reward: 100 grade points
___
Final exam results: Potions (Outstanding), Transfiguration (Outstanding), Herbology (Outstanding)... History of Magic (Exceeds Expectations)
Reward: 650 grade points
___
Honors: Quidditch champion (not participating), Gryffindor House Cup (100 grade points).
Overall reward: 850 grade points]
Suddenly winning an award of 850 grade points surprised Adrian, who'd been worried about the lack of grade points.
'This is so timely!'
This gave Adrian a little peace of mind as he was about to enter a new environment. With the two hundred grade points he'd originally reserved, he could reserve ten hours of fighting time, or use it for fast learning.
"Well, children, move faster! We must hurry to the station!"
At the forefront, Hagrid leading the group shouted at them loudly, his voice like a drum.
Adrian gathered his thoughts and followed Hagrid's footsteps to Hogsmeade Station not far from the lake. From a distance, he saw the old-fashioned steam locomotive with beautiful red paint underneath and thick white steam coming from its large exhaust.
Adrian hadn't expected the first time he boarded the Hogwarts Express would be when leaving. This was really unusual.
While Adrian was still reflecting, Harry and Ron had already pulled him into one of the compartments.
The space in the compartment was still quite large. Three or four people could sit down without feeling crowded.
Hermione also came from another compartment. She'd been in the same one with roommates Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown, but wasn't used to it after all.
A few people got together and chatted quickly, especially Hermione and Ron. Although they'd been very happy at Hogwarts, they still missed their families very much.
When Harry joined in occasionally, he sometimes complained about his uncle's family who'd adopted him.
Adrian took advantage of this time and took an unconscious mouse from the small cage he'd brought, placing it on the table. He was preparing to continue practicing using magic power to analyze blood cells.
After getting off the train, he could no longer use magic at will.
"Is this your new pet? A mouse? What about Echo?" Harry asked, looking at Adrian's strange behavior.
"This isn't a pet. It's just a prop for practicing Transfiguration." Adrian explained, closing his eyes and infiltrating the mouse's body with as much magic as possible.
Hearing Adrian's words, Hermione and Ron also turned their heads and looked at Adrian's actions curiously.
However, they only saw Adrian place his wand against the mouse's forehead, then stay still and motionless.
"Is this really useful?" Ron muttered.
"Using magic power to analyze objects is a prerequisite for learning advanced Transfiguration." Adrian opened his eyes and looked at them.
"Like your transformed owl?" Harry asked curiously.
"Pretty much." Adrian nodded. He didn't mention the Animagus transformation. There was nothing wrong with understanding it this way anyway.
Harry and the others immediately became interested. They knew how powerful Adrian's Transfiguration was. They hadn't expected it was practiced this way, and they all took out their wands excitedly to prepare to try it.
Adrian didn't stop them. He let them try. Anyway, this kind of rat was everywhere, and he'd caught more than one at Hogwarts.
Harry tried his best to position himself like Adrian had just done, with his wand pressed against the mouse's forehead, trying to input magic power into it. Hermione watched curiously.
Ron remembered he also had a rat, so he grabbed Scabbers who was gnawing on Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans and gestured with his wand, trying to send some magic power in.
Scabbers was frightened, squeaking in horror. He couldn't run away when Ron was gripping his tail. He could only twist his body to avoid Ron's wand poking him.
"Don't move! Let me cast the spell properly..." Ron pressed Scabbers' body down in annoyance and pushed his wand onto its head.
Scabbers had an expression of despair. At this moment, Ron was distracted by movement from Harry.
The mouse lying unconscious on the table suddenly convulsed rapidly after Harry sent in some magic power. Foam appeared at its mouth. A few seconds later, its legs kicked on the table, stiffened, and stopped moving.
Scabbers saw this scene, his eyes wide with terror. He felt he might not survive today.
Harry's face looked a bit awkward. He'd just sent in some magic casually, not knowing how it became like this.
"It doesn't matter. I knocked this mouse out with a Stunning Spell beforehand. It went peacefully when it left..." Adrian waved his hand, saying he was a very humane wizard and never abused animals.
Even if the subject was just a mouse.
"Ron is the one abusing mice like that!" Adrian glanced at Scabbers in Ron's hand and suddenly remembered that Scabbers was an Animagus...
