Kayla and Rowan Vale Calder were born on May 13, 2026, just two minutes apart. Kayla came into the world first as a true Alpha, followed closely by Rowan as an Omega.
Because Kayden was a male Omega, the delivery required a surgical C-section procedure.
The three hours in the waiting room felt like an eternity, but the very second the doctors brought them out, all my anxiety vanished. They were, without a doubt, the absolute most beautiful sight I had ever laid eyes on.
"Let me hold them," Kayden muttered weakly the moment he woke up from the anesthesia in the private recovery ward.
One of the nurses gently helped lift the babies, who were wrapped snugly in soft blue and pink blankets, and handed them into Kayden's arms.
"Our beautiful babies... Kayla and Rowan," Kayden said proudly, his voice thick with emotion as he looked up at me.
I stepped up behind his hospital bed, wrapping my arms around him gently to pull him close.
