Rhys's expression was expected, since he and Miller had shown their crazy hatred for both racers a few nights ago in Miller's home.
I looked away immediately when I saw Rhys's face shift from irritation to a cold, hard glare the second the name Nico Park left my lips.
I had almost laughed at the possessive way he was standing with his chest out, arms folded tightly. He looked like he was ready to fight a professional driver right there in the VIP lot.
"Nico Park?" Rhys repeated, his voice dropping low. "The guy who spends half his life in a helmet and the other half modeling for luxury watches? That's who you're making that sound for?" he rolled his eyes.
I couldn't help the grin stretching across my face as I repeated the words I had said the other night at Miller's house. "Nico Park is one of the best drivers in the world, Rhys. And he's… well, his only rival is Alaric de Viller."
