After Luminarie arrived in the enclave she created in the valley, she started to work on the barrier of the place to let Arwen inside. She thought about it and added Celebrian and the rest of her family because they would probably want to visit her while she is here. It took less time than she told Elrond , as she knew perfectly how to do it, and made it so they could get inside from the road from Rivendell, but if they wanted to leave, it would update itself in those places for them to come back faster. Especially Arwen , because she would have to run out from different places in the barrier and come inside through the gate from the road from Rivendell.
When she came back from Rivendell, it was the end of Spring. Now the next Spring had come, and she had finished the work on the barrier, with only Elrohir still unable to come in. She would complete it in Winter when Arwen would go to Rivendell, so she called for Neori and sent her to bring Arwen for the start of the training. She also mentioned to her that Celebrian could come here because she had adjusted the barrier before, allowing her access . The message about adjusting the barrier for all members of her family she would convey before leaving for home. After that, she started to design a sword and armor for Arwen.
Two weeks later, Arwen arrived with her mother, but when Luminarie saw her, she noticed that she seemed like an extinguished fire. She looked at Celebrian with a questioning look and saw her shake her head. She sighed and let her steward arrange their rooms , saying that after this , he should show Celebrian her office. She needed to talk about it with her before she left because she didn't want to teach someone who was not focused on it.
An hour later, there was knocking at her door while she was reading through some reports about existing veins of mithril that had been discovered on the northeastern hills. " Come in," she said while she wrote on the report to start the excavating and estimate the extent of the vein. When she finished this, she looked up and saw Celebrian with Arwen in tow. She looked at her mother, then at her daughter, and again at her friend.
" I thought we would talk alone, Cel," she said, using her nickname from the past.
" Well, Lumi, the cause of Arwen's behavior is connected to you, so I thought it would be faster if she came with me , " said Celebrian, taking a seat before Luminarie. At that time, Arwen stood before Luminarie and suddenly bowed her head with tears in her eyes. Luminarie looked at the younger girl in shock , then at her friend with questions in her eyes.
" I am so sorry for what I said before. I didn't want to be invasive in your private life. I am prepared for any punishment you would give, but please don't hate me for that , " Arwen said through tears, and if Luminarie could, she would have lit a bulb above her head when she suddenly understood why she was behaving like that.
"Seriously ? Celebrian, you know me probably the best in this world. Why did you not tell her that I really am not one to hold grudges for something like that ? " Luminarie said in an accusatory voice to her friend.
" Come here, Arwen," she said to the girl still in tears and took her into her arms to hug her.
" Shhh, it's okay; you did nothing wrong. It was my reaction that was out of bounds. I should have known that lashing out at you wasn't the best reaction , " she said while hugging and caressing her back with a smile of affection she would give her family.
When Arwen heard this, she hugged her back and started to wail while tears flowed from her eyes onto Luminarie's chest. Celebrian , while looking at her friend and daughter, also let a tear fall from her eye with a smile. After that touching scene, Luminarie talked to Celebrian about the training of her daughter while Arwen, after letting her worries out, fell asleep in Luminarie's arms. When they saw that she wanted to call guards from the door to take her to her room, Celebrian asked her not to. So after a moment of thinking , she took Arwen on her lap while caressing her in her arms like a little girl who had fallen asleep in her mother's embrace . They talked about possible trade arrangements and a treaty to help each other in their time of need. The conversation lasted for two whole hours, and when Arwen woke up, they ended it there to take a break and went to eat dinner. Throughout the whole dinner, Arwen was beet red in the face because she was thinking about the situation in Luminarie 's office where she had slept on her lap. The sleep was perfect, and in two hours, she felt like she had slept for the whole night.
A week later, Celebrian left for Rivendell with the documents of treaties of trade, mutual help in arms , and peace. Arwen talked with her mother before she left and told her she would be back in Winter. After the guards left with her, Luminarie looked at Arwen and her face took on a serious look.
„Now, my disciple, there will be almost no free time, so take three days to look around. Next time you have a break from training , you will probably lay in bed the whole time , " she said and went to her office to close her affairs before training Arwen. The girl looked at her back and then at Neori , who just nodded her head with a serious face. So, she went sightseeing. She used all three days to see most of the Valley. After sightseeing, Arwen started her training with Luminarie. Gravity training was first to get her into shape and physically ready for what Luminarie was preparing for her. Three months of just physical training got her to the level that her teacher considered basic for swordsmanship , and then hell dropped on Arwen. Not only did Luminarie give her two gravity bracelets that she had to wear even while sleeping, which made her resist 5G of force on her body , but while they were training, she had to adjust them to 10G. At first, she thought that would be her death, but she noticed that after her physical training with Luminarie for those three months, she was resisting the gravity enough to cope in some way.
In the following years, it was almost the same way for seventy years when Arwen, when she was coming back from Rivendell, was in the company of her mother, which gave Luminarie a scare because Celebrian wasn't smiling in her usual way. She had a sly look on her face and was looking at her with the eyes of a predator.
„Cel, what can I do for you?" Luminarie asked, with a bit of fear for her close friend.
„Ohhh Lumi, we need to talk about something private. Can we go to your office?" Celebrian said with a smile that rang all alarms in Luminarie.
„Yes, we can. Arwen, go to your room ; I will send someone with the schedule of your training for tomorrow, " said Luminarie and wanted to go to her office, but she was stopped by Celebrian.
„I would like Arwen to witness the conversation . "
„Are you sure?"
„Yes."
„ Okay . For me, it isn't a problem."
„Oh, it will be," whispered Celebrian, thinking that she wouldn't hear her, but she did, and when Luminarie heard it, her heart almost stopped with shock.
'Why would I be in trouble with her child in the room?' Luminarie thought as they went to her office. When they were in place, they sat, and Luminarie made them tea. After they started to drink, Celebrian said to Arwen ,
„You should say it, my child, or she wouldn't know or just will ignore it."
Luminarie looked at Celebrian while picking up her tea. She started to drink while looking at Arwen, who was visibly uncomfortable with the thing she wanted to say.
