Alexander and Chris shot each other one last glare before following Ling Xuan.
Alexander hurried to walk beside her. "I was so scared that I lost you. You shouldn't do that next time."
Ling Xuan didn't bother to spare him a glance, or even a single word.
Alexander bit his lower lip, unsure of how to gain her attention. Before the apocalypse, he was known as the most handsome bachelor in the country, wanted and loved by every woman.
