Dax's grandfather studied him with a bright, knowing smile eyes twinkling with wisdom, as vast and as deep as an ocean.
"My child… the aura around you is certainly not weak. Why do you need this man, when you have clearly found your own path?"
His gaze pierced deeper than mana peered into the very essence of soul and intent. He saw many things even those blessed by the divine ignored.
"As sharp as ever." Dax muttered unknowingly with a smile.
How strange… why does this child speaks as though he knows me. He has never met me.
He observed rather than confronting instead his attention shifted to the man beside Dax.
"Yes… Silas, was it? You are powerful yet I have never heard your name. With your strength, the world should be aware of some one like you."
