nico woke up slowly, while taking his time to grasp his surroundings. he turned to his right and saw lily lying beside him with davi sitting in between them. shortly after, andrew diaz walked in,having slight bruises on his face and his sword in hand. as usual, a girl accompanied him at all times
"oh hey there..."
davi greeted him before turning back to the two people he was taking care of. to his surprise, nico sat up and yawned,what he wouldn't have expected yesterday when he was brought into the hospital.
"nico..."
"my body feels...light?!"
nico rose to his feet on the bed and flexed his arms and legs to make sure it wasn't a dream.when he was sure, he sat down again and checked his stats

Davi turns to Nico and smiled before rising to his feet and exiting the room. Moments after, Lily woke up and turned to her side and saw Nico trying to work out.
Despite not being able to muster up strength,he continued to try until he noticed that Lily was awake
"Oh...hey there"

"Huh?"
Lily repeats herself again with an embarrassed look
"Thank you..."
Nico sits up on the floor.
"For what?..."
"..."
huh...
lily stands up and walks out of the room annoyed. just before exiting,she turned back to him
"tomorrow is class...don't forget to come early, the announcement for the first test is tomorrow"
nico nods his head and she exited the room. since he knew what was going to be announced at the festival, he didn't bother planning to go
"i guess I'll be finding clues tomorrow..."
sky and white entered the room leaving the stuffs they brought on the table. when sky saw nico, she ran to him and hugged him with tears in her eyes while holding them back. seeing this, nico made up his mind to become stronger so that he wouldn't have to worry those close to him.
white wore a worried look on his face and wanted to tell nico something, but a call came in interrupting his speech. when white stepped outside to answer the call, a female voice greeted him
there after, white walked away without telling anyone
sky and nico talked for a while, while waiting for white to come back in. when sky didn't notice white for a while, she checked outside but bumped into davi and ken who were heading inside the room. she asked them whether they had seen white on their way her but they didn't. hearing that, she gave up in seeing him for a while.

the next day, after making sure that none of his peers were in the area,he snuck into the first years building but avoided being seen by people. thanks to davi, everyone believed he was in the hospital receiving treatment and wouldn't suspect him if something went wrong
while checking the places students would frequent, he stumbled across the labs where various experiments where held. finding no clues inside, he turned to leave when a class of students passed by prompting him to hide behind a shelf. just then, his newly upgraded intelligence picked up something unusual
"that's weird..."
nico stomps on the floor to confirm
"the ground's shallow...."
after making sure no one was around the area,he uses his old blade to crave open a hole big enough for two people to fit in and observed it

meanwhile, a young girl named nino was caught infiltrating a storage facility in the city and was pursued swiftly across the city. men dressed in black followed after her while swinging through the city. to their surprise, the girl perfectly matched their pace and evaded them beautifully with little movements
after landing on the roof of a building, the men surrounded her and tried to close in on her but she dodged them leapt over the roof to the next, buying time for her to escape
seeing that the men didn't follow after her, she removed her hood revealing a brilliant blue hair and eyes like the stars at night. she brought out a bag of artifacts she had stolen and smiled while looking at it
"I'm coming for you...darling"
