Connor, who was a rather pale, lean man with fiery red hair, pulled Faye aside. He wore a lab coat, blue jeans that reached past his ankles, and a black shirt.
He seemed nervous, his touch gentle as he mumbled:
"I-I think we should wait it out for now... It... Uhm, it doesn't s-seem like I can do anything about it as of right now."
Simon arched an eyebrow at his nervous demeanor, looking at Alina with a rather serious look. Alina returned his gaze, except hers was much harsher.
The communication was clear, but Simon was confused as to why she approved someone like that on her team. As for Alina, her glare dared Simon to challenge her choices.
He just shook his head before turning the other way, pulling Leo aside. Simon had to inquire about a few things, all of which concerned the entity.
He explained the situation they had just escaped from to Leo before moving on.
