The worst-case scenario was the fact that it now had knowledge about two of Torq's vessels–Boiboi and Bitala.
Therefore, the moment Torq regresses, and begins the next timeline, both Boiboi and Bitala would be targeted, preventing them from achieving what they originally intended.
At least, in Boiboi's case, things could be managed. For, that timeline's Boiboi would have Torq's strength without Torq's involvement. Torq would have assumed another identity in the respective timelines, allowing him to make countermeasures to ensure Boiboi's survival.
