Kimbo sat perched on a thick tree limb, casually chewing on a twig.
"Even Mega Manectric was helpless against that Corviknight. Its strength is formidable. According to my intel, he even successfully challenged the Elite Four. It seems assassinating him will require a much more deliberate plan."
He sighed, his eyes narrowing. "Forget it. I'll team up with Maki. If the organization's mission fails, I'll be subjected to the Hellfire for three days and three nights."
At the mere thought of the agonizing burn of the Hellfire, Kimbo's body trembled involuntarily.
"Besides, High Priest Shaka clearly did something to our bodies. I have no intention of ending up like Ran—having my very soul incinerated into nothingness."
With a look of sheer annoyance, Kimbo spat out the twig and vanished from the spot.

And it ended with High Priest Shaka himself possessing the assassin, Feng Che mused as he walked through the dense foliage.
The calamity of the 'Demonic Monsters' is far more terrifying than I imagined. Still, if the lore from the games holds true, there are only three such entities in this world: the Sky Demon, the Earth Demon, and the Sea Demon.
The Sky Demon is tied to the Jingten Cult. The Earth Demon is with Team Magma. And the Sea Demon is with Team Aqua.
Not long ago, I completely ransacked the Sea Demon's lair. Right now, it probably wants to tear me limb from limb and is likely scouring the earth for any sign of me.
As Feng Che was lost in thought, a Togetic suddenly slammed into him, flailing in a blind panic.
Togetic is a small, bipedal Pokémon, relatively short in stature. Its body still bears the signature red and blue triangular patterns from its time as an egg. With its long neck, slender legs, and a pair of wings on its back, it possesses an almost angelic appearance. They have the unique ability to float in the air without even flapping their wings and are said to bring immense good fortune to those with pure hearts.

"Why is this Togetic so terrified?" Feng Che muttered, looking down at the shivering Pokémon.
Suddenly, a middle-aged man descended from the sky, propelled by a small rocket booster emitting blue flames.
"Strange... I clearly saw that Togetic flee in this direction," the man grumbled, scanning the area. He gripped a heavy-duty stun gun, which was augmented by a Magnemite and a Klink attached to the chassis.
"Magnemite, Klink, help me find it! This is a specimen General Jecal specifically requested!" the man barked.
The Magnemite and Klink detached from the weapon. Klink, true to its name, consisted of two interlocking gears, each with six teeth and patterns resembling eyes and a mouth. The left gear spun clockwise while the right spun counter-clockwise; their high-speed interlocking rotation generated a massive amount of electricity.
"Found you!"
The man finally spotted Feng Che, who was currently cradling the Togetic and applying basic first aid.
"Hey, kid! If you don't want to die, hand over that Togetic!"
The man then paused, his eyes landing on the magnificent Corviknight standing guard beside Feng Che.
"Haha! Actually, I've changed my mind. Hand over the Corviknight too!" He leveled the stun gun at Feng Che's chest.
"Corviknight, Air Slash."
With a sharp command, Corviknight manipulated its feathers—shrouded in the Delta Stream—and released a blur of cyan light. The man's stun gun was sliced perfectly in half in an instant. The severed weapon's internal battery became unstable, erupting in a violent electrical discharge.
"Aaargh!"
The man screamed as the explosion shredded his forearm. Blood began to pour from the jagged wounds.
"Curse you! Magnemite, Klink, use Thunderbolt!"
The man's command had barely left his lips when a series of dull thuds rang out. Magnemite and Klink were swatted out of the air, collapsing to the ground covered in bruises.
"It looks like you've had quite a successful haul today," Feng Che remarked coldly. He flicked his wrist, using his psychic power to pull several Poké Balls out of the man's backpack.
"Togetic, these are your kin, aren't they?"
Feng Che pressed the release buttons on the captured balls. A flock of Togepi, Togetic, and Togekiss burst forth.
The Togepi were small and egg-shaped, mostly bright yellow with crown-like spikes on their heads. The Togekiss, the final evolution, were bird-like with broad, triangular wings and white, downy fur. They all quickly surrounded the injured Togetic, chirping anxiously. It appeared this specific Togetic was the leader of the flock.
"Damn you! Those are rare Pokémon I spent days tracking! Give them back!" The man lunged for a second stun gun in his storage device.
"You really don't learn, do you? I told you—I'm a psychic."
Feng Che snapped his fingers. A massive burst of flame erupted from the second stun gun as it detonated in the man's hands, leaving both of his arms severely scorched.
"You... you'll pay for this!"
As the man turned to flee, he found his body frozen in mid-air, encased in a shimmering blue aura of telekinetic energy.
"Psychic power... when did you...?" the man gasped, gritting his teeth.
"For a top-tier psychic, it's as simple as breathing. Now, sit still while I take a look at your memories."
Feng Che's consciousness dove into the man's mind. The man began to convulse, foaming at the mouth as his eyes rolled back.
From the mental search, Feng Che identified him: Akimoto, a squad leader under the Flying General Jecal, tasked with capturing rare Flying-types and locating a specific hidden ruin on the island. Akimoto had abandoned his main unit to chase the Togekiss flock for personal profit.
Feng Che eventually set the unconscious Akimoto and his Pokémon under a large tree. He took the precaution of erasing the memory of their encounter to avoid unnecessary complications.
"Togetic, why don't you and your flock come with me? This island isn't safe anymore," Feng Che suggested gently.
The Togetic looked at her family, then at the aura of Viridian Power radiating from Feng Che. She knew this human was different. She nodded solemnly and pointed to a Poké Ball, signaling her acceptance.
"Then I look forward to working with you. My name is Feng Che."
He held out a Poké Ball, and Togetic tapped it, disappearing into a flash of red light. Once the capture was registered, he released her again.
"Togetic," Feng Che asked, his body glowing with a soft green light as he used his Viridian Power to communicate, "do you know where the ruins on this island are?"
