Silver moonlight poured down like a liquid waterfall, striking the surface of the spring. The interaction changed the fountain's hue from a lush emerald to a shimmering celestial blue. The Serperior gathered the elite Pokémon of the Underground Medicine Field, signaling the commencement of the evolutionary rite.
Scores of Grass-type Pokémon congregated, their bodies pulsating with faint green light. Serperior opened its mouth, and a melodic, haunting song echoed through the cavern, harmonizing with the rustling leaves.
The Evolution Ritual
"Ivysaur, now is the time!" Feng Che shouted.
Ivysaur, which had been soaking in the fountain for nearly twenty-four hours, began to glow with a blinding white light. The concentration of Grass energy from the Tree of Life roots, combined with the lunar influence, created a vortex of power.
Suddenly, a brilliant, multi-colored stone floated out from the depths of the fountain, guided by Serperior's tail. It was a Venusaurite—the Mega Stone specifically for its kind.

The light shattered. Standing in the center of the fountain was a massive, majestic Venusaur.

Talon, a seasoned Elite, watched as the Champion-tier Serperior nudged the new Venusaur with approval. He looked at Feng Che's Zeraora standing guard and then back at the massive Venusaur.
Strike now? Talon thought bitterly. Apollo is delusional if he thinks we can just walk in there and take that fountain. Between that monster snake and the kid's Mythical Pokémon, we'd be wiped out before we could draw a Poké Ball.
"Stand down," Talon ordered quietly. "We report this to the Leader. This kid isn't just an intern; he's a variable we didn't account for."
