Chapter 47 - Chapter 47: Second Form

Nexus spoke in a deep voice, genuine surprise flashing across his face."So it still has enough energy to reinforce its beam…"

A cold glint appeared in his eyes as his tone hardened."But this is nothing more than stubborn resistance. Fall obediently."

Nexus poured even more power into his attack. The Cross Ray blazed brighter than ever, its radiance overwhelming the Spiral Heat Ray. After only a few breaths, it pierced straight through the beam and slammed into Singularity Godzilla's head with scorching force.

Boom!!!

A violent explosion erupted instantly. Singularity Godzilla's hundred-meter-long body was swallowed by towering flames, leaving it no chance to even cry out in pain.

Yet Nexus, hovering in midair, showed no signs of relief. He could still sense a faint aura lingering within the inferno.

"It's not over…"

He moved toward the sea of fire to confirm the situation.

Whoosh—

A strange sound echoed from the center of the flames. In an instant, the raging fire was blown apart as Singularity Godzilla emerged, its entire body glowing fiery red like burning iron. White mist poured violently from its mouth.

The mist rapidly ignited, transforming into crimson flames as a terrifying gale erupted outward, hurling dust and debris in all directions.

In less than a single breath, Singularity Godzilla's body—like an overloaded nuclear reactor—underwent a cataclysmic detonation.

"Not good!"

Nexus's expression darkened as an overwhelming sense of danger surged through him. He tried to retreat, but it was already too late.

With no other choice, he hastily erected a circular barrier in front of himself.

"Ugh—!"

The terrifying shockwave blasted Nexus hundreds of meters away, smashing him into the sea and sending waves soaring over a hundred meters high.

Moments later, Nexus regained consciousness.

The sight before him was devastating. Everything within a five-hundred-meter radius had been erased. The land had been reduced to scorched black earth, radiating unbearable heat. The terrain itself had vanished.

The sheer power of the attack sent shockwaves through the entire group chat.

Kazuma: "What the hell… that explosion was insane!"

Kakarot: "Its range might not match Deva Path Pain's Super Shinra Tensei, but the temperature is on an entirely different level."

Yujiro Hanma: "The purity is absurd."

Miyamoto Musashi: "And what about me?"

Yujiro Hanma: "Your purity is too low."

God King Tang San: "Hmph. Just a small explosion."

Jotaro Kujo: "Look. Something's still there."

At Jotaro's words, everyone focused on the heart of the blast.

As the smoke slowly dispersed, a carbonized, crimson shell came into view.

Fairy Tail World

Natsu scratched his head."So… is this Singularity Godzilla guy dead?"

Gray crossed his arms."Isn't it obvious? That thing's been blasted to ashes."

Happy sighed."Looks like it tried to die together with its opponent. Too bad it couldn't take him down."

Erza spoke solemnly."That giant named Nexus is terrifying. He endured an explosion like that without serious injury. I can't imagine how many battles he's survived to reach this level."

Even Makarov was shaken."Monster or not, it fought to the very end. That kind of resolve is worth respecting."

Just as countless worlds began to feel a trace of regret—

Bang!!!

The carbonized shell suddenly exploded.

Several plumes of crimson smoke burst outward as the ground trembled violently. Countless crystal fragments rained down, and from within the shattered husk, a new figure emerged.

A blue monster stepped forth.

Roar!!!

Singularity Godzilla let out a soul-shaking roar.

Its Second Form had arrived—reborn through nirvana within the previous explosion.

Its head was now nearly devoid of spikes, yet the dorsal spines along its back were denser and far larger than before. Its body had turned a bluish-green hue, its limbs thickened and powerful, and its massive claws gleamed coldly. Its tail remained as heavy and oppressive as ever.

Across the myriad worlds, eyes widened in disbelief.

It had already evolved once—and now again?

Even after being burned to carbon, it could continue fighting. Such vitality was monstrous. Even Kaido, known as the strongest creature, would feel ashamed in comparison.

On the Battlefield

Nexus stared at Singularity Godzilla's Second Form with a grave expression.

Though its height had shrunk dramatically—now only around fifty meters tall—its combat power had undergone a terrifying qualitative leap.

Still, Nexus felt no fear.

On this planet, he was not bound by Earth's three-minute limit. He still had room to unleash his true strength.

"Your vitality surprises me," Nexus said calmly, "but you're still far too green to defeat me."

In a flash, he activated Mach Movement, appearing directly in front of Singularity Godzilla, and drove a heavy punch into its abdomen.

Roar!!!

Having just completed its evolution, Singularity Godzilla had yet to fully adapt. Caught off guard, it was blasted straight into the ground.

Nexus followed up instantly, unleashing a storm of blows like falling pear blossoms. His close-combat techniques were exquisitely refined, each punch carrying tens of thousands of tons of force, battering Singularity Godzilla mercilessly.

The pain was overwhelming.

At last, Singularity Godzilla reacted, kicking Nexus violently in the waist and breaking free from the onslaught.

It roared furiously—and before everyone's eyes, its wounds healed at an astonishing speed. Within just a few breaths, every injury vanished without leaving a single scar.

"What?!"

Shock rippled through every world.

Evolution restoring it to peak condition was one thing—but this Second Form possessed absurd regeneration. It was practically a bug.

If it couldn't be killed in a single decisive blow, the fight would never end.

Filled with renewed confidence, Singularity Godzilla charged straight at Nexus, intent on engaging him in close combat.

But it had overestimated itself.

Nexus condensed brilliant white light around his right fist and smashed it into Singularity Godzilla's head, sending sparks flying.

The monster staggered back several steps, nearly concussed by the blow.

Before it could recover, Nexus summoned his Rescue Whip, lashing it out and binding Singularity Godzilla tightly.

Gripping the whip, Nexus spun the massive monster like a giant windmill. After countless rotations, he released it without mercy.

Singularity Godzilla was hurled headfirst into a distant mountain.

The mountain was pulverized instantly.

Singularity Godzilla tumbled across the ground, its brain likely shaken into complete disarray.
