Kaido frowned in confusion as he watched the scene unfold.
"What's going on? This guy can turn into a giant?"
In the Pirate World, giant races were nothing unusual, and there were plenty of Sea Kings far larger than Singularity Godzilla. However, no one had ever seen someone instantly transform to such a size, especially with a form completely different from their original appearance.
Charlotte Linlin burst into laughter.
"Ma ma ma! This Nexus really knows how to make an entrance. That move was pretty flashy."
Among the Whitebeard Pirates, Diamond Jozu spoke up, unimpressed.
"Even if he's bigger now, he's still nowhere near that Godzilla."
Whitebeard, however, shook his head slightly and said in a deep voice,
"You can't judge a battle by appearance alone. That Godzilla is enormous, and its strength is certainly terrifying, but this Nexus shouldn't be underestimated either."
Nearby, Benn Beckman pulled out his spotless rifle, Griffin, its surface reflecting the light. He looked at Singularity Godzilla and smiled faintly.
"What a massive monster. I wonder if it can be cut down."
As voices echoed across the various worlds, Shinji finally raised his hand and shouted,
"Battle start!"
The moment the battle began, Singularity Godzilla—already eager to fight—lashed its massive tail through the sea. An overwhelming wall of seawater surged forward, rushing straight toward Nexus.
Seeing the ferocious attack, Nexus narrowed his eyes and instantly leaped hundreds of meters into the air, narrowly avoiding the strike.
Boom!
The tidal wave slammed into several distant mountain peaks, shattering them completely and leaving only their midsections standing. The sight made spectators from every world gasp in shock.
Da Chun frowned and spoke solemnly.
"What an incredible physical body. Its tail must be its primary weapon."
Ah Qi nodded gravely.
"If that attack had landed on Chicken Island, it would've caused an immediate flood."
Dabao slowly removed his sunglasses, staring at the screen.
"What did this monster even eat to grow like that?"
From midair, Nexus observed Singularity Godzilla resting in the sea. Judging from its movements, he quickly concluded that it was primarily an aquatic creature and likely less effective on land.
An idea immediately formed in his mind.
"If it's dragging that massive body through the water, I can harass it from the air."
With his plan decided, Nexus shifted into his red youth form and flew straight toward Singularity Godzilla.
Boom!
However, Godzilla had been waiting. The instant Nexus reached the space above it, the monster burst out of the sea at terrifying speed. Its enormous jaws opened wide, filled with countless sharp teeth, snapping toward Nexus in an ambush.
But Nexus, seasoned by countless battles, had already anticipated this. He activated Mach Movement in an instant, slipping away from the monster's fangs by a hair's breadth.
After retreating to a safe distance, Nexus frowned.
"That body may be heavy, but its explosive power is terrifying."
Without hesitation, he pressed his right hand against his left wrist, then flicked it outward. A crescent-shaped Particle Razor shot forward.
Swish!
The razor sliced cleanly through the air, severing every dorsal spine along Singularity Godzilla's back. The cuts were so smooth they looked polished.
Roar!!!
The damage itself was minimal, but the pain and humiliation enraged Singularity Godzilla. Its massive eyes locked onto Nexus with murderous intent.
"It worked."
Nexus felt a surge of excitement. Despite its overwhelming presence, the monster's defenses weren't as impenetrable as they appeared.
Seizing the opportunity, Nexus flew above Godzilla's back, positioning himself where it couldn't strike him.
"Ha!"
He gathered energy into his right leg, yellow light flaring brilliantly. Then he slammed his foot down with tremendous force.
Boom!
The impact alone wasn't the end. Nexus spun rapidly after the kick, the intense friction igniting flames around his body until he resembled a blazing pillar of fire.
Singularity Godzilla let out a tortured howl. Even through the screen, spectators swore they could smell scorched flesh.
Driven into a frenzy, Godzilla unleashed its rage. With a thunderous roar, a dense red mist erupted from the sea, spreading across thousands of meters.
Moments later, the monster emerged from the fog and dragged its colossal body onto land.
Its appearance had changed completely. Its body turned brownish-gray, the fins on its head vanished, replaced by sharp spikes, and its face now resembled that of a massive iguana. Even the dorsal fins that had been cut away had fully regenerated.
"To complete such a transformation in such a short time…"
Nexus narrowed his eyes. "This thing is no ordinary monster."
He could clearly sense the change in its aura—it was even more savage than before.
This was Singularity Godzilla's first form: Amphibious Mode.
