Gideon was only joking. For some reason, he could tell she wasn't ready, which was… strange in its own way.
He remembered Summer or Freya mentioning that Elaine had practically raised them like a nanny, and that their somewhat twisted understanding of sex had come from sneaking into Elaine's collection of adult magazines.
The thought made him chuckle quietly to himself. Funny how they all turned out so different.
He wasn't in a hurry anyway. There was no need to push her. He had time, and more than enough women who were willing to satisfy him, even if, ultimately, he still needed them to bear his children.
'I hope things move faster with Delilah,' he thought.
For now, she was the closest to becoming something more serious, aside from Summer and Freya, of course.
As for Jade… that was different. Gideon preferred to take things slowly with her. He understood what she wanted, but he didn't like the idea of being valued only for money and power.
