Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Senior, Look This Way!

Li Lin had no doubts at all about Exusiai and Texas peeling off together midway.

After all, those two were literally "best friends" in their skill descriptions. Their bond was deep—so sharing weird stories, or even private secrets, was entirely normal. That was exactly why Li Lin believed so firmly in the inevitability of separation.

I mean—look. Even "friends written into skills" still end up splitting apart, each going their own way for ideals and careers.

On Terra, "doing something big" seemed practically baked into people's bones. Up to now, Li Lin still hadn't met anyone who lived purely for low-level desires.

So the loneliness beneath these beautiful women's poised lives…

Well, he—this humble human—could take care of that part.

Everyone wants to do great things, which means, in a sense, no one wants to do "that kind" of thing.

But if everyone doesn't, and only he does…

That changes the equation.

Endure for now. Keep the "small head" and lofty ideals under control.

After that, it's all smooth roads.

With a calm face, Li Lin walked along the street, expressionless and fair-minded as he "equally" surveyed the girls around him in their breezy summer outfits. From Sankta to Ursus, from Liberi to Lupo—their curves weren't merely good; they were, compared to his previous life, better by an absurd margin.

Sure, he'd seen beaches before—ordinary people, ordinary bodies.

But on Terra? It was like golden-ratio humanoids were everywhere.

Yet interestingly, most of them cared more about their animal traits—ears, tails, horns—than they did about "human" modesty or covering up.

Li Lin had repeatedly seen girls in transparent clothing who could bend over and reveal practically everything… while putting meticulous effort into grooming their ears and tails.

And honestly?

What was wrong with that?

Time passed. And within that flow, Li Lin quietly absorbed his own thoughts and energy.

Right now, with Penguin Logistics and the cohabitation situation, he couldn't fully do as he pleased.

But later?

Later would come.

Bread would come.

Milk would come too.

Keeping his gaze straight, he walked past a lively student group, turned into a side alley, and followed a discreet route back to the building where he rented.

He didn't know why, but the surrounding security had clearly improved. Still, he didn't drop his guard—he checked the area, then climbed the stairs and returned to his unit.

And at his door, he saw someone squatting by the wall, looking painfully lonely.

"...Huh?"

Seeing the pale-yellow hair, Li Lin couldn't suppress his confusion.

"Sora? Why are you here?"

"Ah, Senior!"

At his voice, Sora jumped up, dusted herself off, and pouted at him with clear displeasure.

"Why weren't you in the room? I've been waiting here forever."

"…"

First things first: a ceremonial glance.

Li Lin looked Sora up and down—today she wasn't wearing her Lungmen idol uniform.

This was different from the usual impression. Sora wasn't actually a loli-type girl at all—on the contrary, she was very well-endowed.

In everyday wear she had a short skirt and small leather shoes, paired with a fitted black jacket, an open stand collar that exposed her collarbones, and an overall vibe that read mature and stylish.

But her face was so youthful that she always gave off a small-animal impression. That was part of why, for a long time, people saw her only as an idol singer and overlooked her real capabilities.

Li Lin's eyes "politely" swept over her bare calves and thighs, lingered briefly at her collarbone, then he calmly met her red eyes and shook the bag in his hand.

"I went out to buy things. And you didn't schedule anything with me—I had no idea you were coming."

"This is a girl's special right, Senior."

"You don't have special rights with me," Li Lin replied. "We're comrades, aren't we?"

He unlocked the door. Sora, looking a bit overheated, fanned the front of her jacket with one hand.

Li Lin spoke casually.

"Also, Exusiai peeled off halfway with Texas. It's just me now. If you were looking for Texas, you just missed her… want to come in and cool off?"

"But I'm not here for Texas today," Sora said. "I'm here for you, Senior."

"Oh? The piano thing?" Li Lin asked. "Give me a moment—I'll put the stuff away."

"Mm."

Sora walked in naturally and sat on the sofa, propping her chin with one hand as she looked around the rental unit.

Because Exusiai had been unwell before they left, her clothes were scattered everywhere. With no detergent pods or laundry liquid, nothing had been collected—everything sat around the room in a very "lived-in" state.

In one corner, Sora even spotted something that looked… familiar.

Something that should have been the most private piece of clothing.

And although Sora wasn't a true Lupo, her sense of smell wasn't bad. She could detect the mingled scent that came from two people living together long-term.

But there was no filthy odor.

No sharp, strange stench either.

Instead, there was the clean smell of frequent tidying, frequent work—

And the faint scent of ink and paper.

It was obvious Exusiai wasn't the sort to keep detailed work records.

So who the "real" resident was… became self-evident.

Sora's gaze toward Li Lin—busy in the bathroom—quietly picked up a subtle, complicated edge.

As a top-tier idol in the entertainment world, she'd seen plenty of chaotic scenes.

But in Sora's eyes, this situation already seemed to have an answer.

Meanwhile, in the bathroom, Li Lin unpacked shampoo, detergent, and cleaning liquids from the plastic bags, and asked offhandedly:

"By the way, Sora—how did you know I lived here?"

"Hehe. I used a little influence."

"…"

Wait.

What was that?

That sounded terrifying.

Li Lin's hands paused mid-unpacking.

Sora sat on the sofa and spoke lightly:

"I thought about it for a long time. In the end, I decided I should assign you the most suitable piano teacher—not the best one."

"A reasonable decision," Li Lin said. "So who's the teacher? When should I go visit?"

"Me."

"...?"

Li Lin turned, staring at the girl on the sofa pointing confidently at her own face.

A question mark slowly rose above his head.
