"Fuck!"

Crossbones Rumlow gasped, looking around in confusion.

He was still in the car, holding the file on Hulk Bruce Banner.

"Officer, is there a problem?"

"Nothing, just that the intel is a bit terrifying."

Crossbones Rumlow made a casual excuse.

He had already regained his senses, thinking to himself, "Was that an illusion just now?"

Recalling the oppressive and suffocating feeling before his death, Crossbones Rumlow dismissed the idea.

"That couldn't have been an illusion; it was too real, the feeling of my body exploding from within."

Crossbones Rumlow still clearly remembered being crushed by that monster, as fragile as mashed potatoes.

"Even the energy gun couldn't cause effective damage to him? He's truly terrifying."

Only at this moment did Crossbones realize the horror of these superhumans.

He had been too arrogant before; even an unknown monster was so powerful.

The energy gun in his hand was not as strong as he thought.

His previous idea of defeating Homelander with an energy gun was ridiculous.

He redistributed the files to his team members, and Crossbones Rumlow began to ponder what had just happened.

"Did I reload? Can I restart after dying? What caused this? Is the World fake? Is this actually just a game? Then what am I, a game character?"

Crossbones Rumlow fell into a philosophical contemplation.

"Officer, are you alright? You've been out of it since just now." The team member still felt Crossbones Rumlow was acting very strange.

"I'm fine.

This mission is very dangerous, and we must not directly clash with this Bruce Banner.

If we encounter him, evacuate immediately.

And don't clash with those yellowish-brown monsters like him either.

Safety is paramount.

You were trained by me personally, and I don't want you to die at the hands of such monsters."

The team members exchanged glances.

Although their Officer usually treated them well and viewed work as just a job, he had never been like this before, as if encountering Bruce Banner on this mission would lead to instant death.

According to him, they might as well not do the mission and just declare it a failure.

One team member couldn't help but ask, "Then, Officer, if we don't fight the Hulk, how do we capture him?"

"Then we won't capture him.

The file states that Bruce Banner has always been in contact with Samuel Stern, trying to get rid of his ability to transform into the Hulk.

So he will definitely give blood-related items to this Samuel Stern.

We'll go directly to Samuel Stern's residence; there must be the blood samples needed for the mission there."

The team members praised, "As expected of the boss!"

Silence once again fell inside the car.

The team members looked at the files in their hands, while Crossbones Rumlow once again fell into contemplation about the World.

Except for the conversation between Crossbones Rumlow and his team members, everything else proceeded as it had in the previous cycle.

"Officer, the commotion ahead is very unusual, too loud.

It seems the Military is fighting something."

Just as he remembered, a team member said to him.

Crossbones Rumlow pondered for a moment and said,

"I'm afraid they're fighting the Hulk.

We shouldn't get involved in this mess.

Go around, take a different route.

I don't want to clash with that kind of monster."

After the previous cycle, he already knew that the monster ahead was the Abomination, and even energy guns couldn't harm him.

He definitely didn't want to experience what happened last time again.

"Yes, Officer."

The team member driving the Chevrolet turned, taking a different route to continue forward.

Over at Abomination, he smashed the attacking Military into a pulp, then grabbed a Military truck and began to swing it.

"I am Abomination! Where is the Hulk? Where is the Hulk? Come out quickly, stop hiding!"

After smashing for a while, the Hulk still didn't appear.

"The Hulk isn't here, I, Abomination, am invincible!"

Abomination forcefully kicked a car at his feet.

Under the immense impact, the car violently shot towards a Police Officer not far away.

The Police Officer's hand, holding his pistol, trembled.

He had just arrived and witnessed this scene, still reeling from the shock, when a car came rushing at him.

He was so scared now that his legs were unsteady.

A red and blue figure descended from the sky.

Intense heat rays shot from his eyes, instantly cutting the oncoming car into two pieces.

Homelander stood casually, placing a hand on the shoulder of the Police Officer beside him, and said to Abomination, "Hey, big guy, you need to care for our city's Police!"

"Homelander, Homelander!" the Police Officer stammered.

Homelander turned, revealing a smile, and said,

"People like you, who bravely protect citizens, are the true superheroes!

Leave here; let the mighty Homelander handle it!"

"Thank you!" the Police Officer said, patted his shaky legs, and quickly ran off.

Abomination roared, "Are you here to challenge me, Star-Spangled Banner!"

Homelander didn't respond immediately, but instead tilted his head to look at a rooftop in the distance.

There, Vought's photographers had already set up their cameras, the lenses pointed in this direction.

"A superhero fighting a monster destroying the city—that's marketable!

After today, even more people will support me!"

Homelander exclaimed excitedly, then struck what he considered a handsome pose and slowly flew up.

He didn't take Abomination seriously at all; an ugly monster that he, the most powerful superhuman Homelander, could easily deal with.

The most crucial thing now was to deal with the monster in front of him stylishly.

Flying towards Abomination, Homelander's eyes turned red, and heat rays shot out, aimed at Abomination.

He thought things would end this way, just like the incidents he had handled recently; as long as he used his heat rays, there was no problem that couldn't be solved.

However...

Abomination let the heat rays hit him, then patted himself like dusting off, and mocked, "Joker, can you only tickle?"

Homelander was startled.

His all-purpose heat rays had actually failed.

Not believing it for a moment, Homelander increased the power of his heat rays, slowly moving closer to Abomination, hoping to increase their intensity this way.

Abomination grinned, "A little interesting; I actually felt pain!"

Abomination endured the heat rays and leaped, directly grabbing Homelander who was flying in the air.

Homelander was truly shocked this time.

To prevent being attacked by this monster, he hadn't gotten too close to him, always flying at a height of four or five stories.

But this monster, who couldn't fly, actually jumped several times his own height and grabbed him.

Abomination wanted to crush this flying guy directly, but after trying, he found that this guy's body was very hard and couldn't be crushed quickly.

So he forcefully threw him towards a tall building in the distance.

That was precisely the direction where Crossbones' team was located.

With a leap, Abomination jumped over; he wanted to properly toy with that tough guy.

"Damn it!"

Homelander burst out of the smoke and dust; he was enraged.

Aside from when he was a child, he, Homelander, had never been treated like this.

Using his super strength and super speed, he directly crashed into Abomination.

"Officer, why do I feel like the commotion is getting louder and louder?"

A member of the special forces team asked Crossbones Rumlow, puzzled.
