However, the moment he attempted to rise, nothing happened. His feet remained firmly planted on the ground as though countless invisible chains had wrapped themselves around his legs.
He frowned and increased the flow of his power, pushing his spatial authority to its limit. Even then, his body did not move an inch. The surrounding space felt unimaginably dense, as if the very laws of reality had been forged from solid metal, refusing to yield before his will.
