"Should I come back later?"

"You can leave if you want," I said.

"I am not the one kissing in the open," she replied.
Behind her, Bai Ming walked over with another tray of food.
She paused for a moment, clearly catching the atmosphere, but she did not say anything. She simply lowered her head slightly and began placing the dishes on the table.
"Food is ready," she said.
