I tapped my screen, pulling up the public guild tracker to verify the alert. The broad system map flashed red across three central sectors of the neutral plaza, displaying heavy troop movements from the western gate.
"Are they moving toward the Egyptian district?" Woonhee asked, leaning over my shoulder to look at the map.
"They're positioning along the trade line," I said, pointing to the blue boundary marker on the screen. "That cuts off the logistics path between our warehouse and the lower mining portals."
Woonhee tapped her pen against her palm, staring at the flashing red icons. "If they lock down the neutral trade line, we can't move the black-steel to the smithy on the third floor. We'd have to use the public transport portals, and those carry a thirty percent transit tax."
"They know we just signed with Anubis," I said. "This is Odin's faction testing how far the treaty extends."
