Anubis stared at the black-iron balance in my palm, his dark eyes tracing the worn inscriptions along its metal frame.
"State your terms," Anubis said, his voice deep and steady despite the blood dripping from his wounded arm.
"First, exclusive mining and hunting rights for Kang Company across floors forty-five through forty-nine," I said, holding his gaze. "Second, fifty percent of all boss-drop revenues generated when your faction clears floor seventy-five using this key."
Anubis grimaced, his heavy black tail flicking against his bloodstained armor. "Fifty percent is a heavy toll. My commanders will object to giving half our raid earnings to a human company."
"Your commanders have been stuck behind a locked gate for decades," I replied, taking a small step closer. "They can accept half of a massive payout or keep earning zero while sitting in the sand."
