"Ugh.. Who am i even kidding" Racine clutched his head in frustration.
Racine would be lying if he said he didn't at least even one time wish of an apocalypse.
But he only stupidly wish that because its impossible to come true and also because he thought he be Overpowered.
Letting out a sigh of defeat Racine decided to rummage around the house to anything that could cure his boredom.
When he suddenly heard the sound of a small child crying for help outside.
Racine at that moment thought, 'You're on your own kid'
Racine ran upstairs farther from the source of the sound, held tightly in his hand was a kitchen knife and a lighter.
Making no sound he tiptoed into his room and climb unto the cabinet.
Then he waited.
But the sound didn't stop instead it appears to get louder.
and closer.
Racine gulped. He had make sure to secure all the entrances of the house. It's impossible for that to be able to get in and even if they managed to get in.
They would have to at least be temporary stopped by the barricades and have made sound's loud enough for Racine to notice.
Pressing his back to the Wall Racine tried to make sense of what had happened.
But trying to make sense of things at this time is pointless.
So he braced himself to fight whatever monster it was that had gotten inside. With his two hands wrapped around the knife and the lighter now inside his pocket he waited for it.
The sound get closer and closer.
Making Racine more tenser as more time goes.
Soon the wails came behind the door and Racine prepared himself to jump towards the door from the top of the cabinet to escape and lock the monster inside the room.
It was a high risk juke but its not like he have much of a choice left.
Racine watched the door intently for any changes, a slight shake, a flicker of movement but nothing came and the sound only grow closer.
'It's not invisible right?' Racine thought to himself.
Racine make a move his non-dominant hand slowly opened the drawer his one hand firmly clutching his weapon tightly.
Grabbing any fabric he could get inside the cabinet Racine begun to flung it around the room and mostly into the spot that the sound seem to be coming from and when nothing was caught by the clothes. Racine felt a slight wave of relief that didn't last long as the wailing sounds had became louder it was almost like it had been beside him.
Racine jump towards his bed his head turning towards the top of the cabinet he was on and found nothing there.
'Something is here' Racine thought his eyes scanning around a few times he even swung to the air but there was nothing.
So where is the sound coming from? How come it sounds so close.
'I need to get out of here' Racine ran towards the door making sure to lock it behind him, he didn't even try to ran down the stairs using the railing he slid down and make his way to the kitchen.
His eyes scanned over it and his eyes begun to lock towards the jar of seasonings, Grabbing the jar of rock salt Racine toss the salt everywhere but it hit nothing.
'Is it a ghost?' Racine felt his chest tighten, 'I need to get out of here. I can't stay here' He head towards the barricaded back door when he suddenly came into a stop.
'Don't tell me it's trying to lure me out' Racine eyes darted towards the sound of wailing of a small child this time unlike before where he was trying to locate the monster inside his eyes focused on the windows.
All of them had been covered by wet paper which makes one unable to see through it.
'It can't get in. That's why it's luring me outside' Racine covered his mouth, he had reacted to the sound and had made quite a mess on.
The monster outside knew he was inside the house.
