POV: CHASE
The camera finds things I didn't expect it to find, which is the specific quality of a documentary camera in a real space, that it locates the truth of a thing in places you weren't looking.
It finds the morning quality. The first week the crew is with us, they film the mornings, which is when the scheduled window days have their specific quality of a day beginning with the knowledge that the window is coming, and what the camera finds in the mornings of window days is a quality I would not have been able to describe without seeing it from outside myself, which is the specific quality of two people who know what the day contains and are moving through the early hours of it with the full weight of that knowledge visible in the way they occupy their space.
