I couldn't stop thinking about her. Muffins. I couldn't get her out of my mind.
Even as father made conversation with sad eyes and fake smile, all aimed at covering up that he hadn't actually smiled in the past hour— I couldn't stop thinking about the girl I met by the riverside.
She was the only thing in this castle that made any sense to me. Every other thing felt weird and wrong...and gross. Like Cora-James.
Yesterday, she was four and she liked eating bugs and she thought kissing was gross same as me...but today?
She's kissing and touching me all of a sudden. And my little boy's place is no longer so little, especially when she touches it with her hand. And I get funny feeling down there.
It's nice feeling but... Wrong.
Everything was weird and wrong.
Like Mammy taking just Grey and Abby to Mountain pack leaving me here to heal alone without my twin.
Like Father hiding sad eyes.
Like the fact that someone took all the colors in this Side castle.
