Today, the Gryphon's flying speed was not fast; its posture even looked a bit unsteady and wobbly. After all, the heavy load currently on it was about to exceed the limits of physical endurance the Gryphon could bear.
One could see that the Gryphon's sharp claws were tightly gripping a sea monster over three meters long, its tail hanging down. On the Gryphon's back, it was also carrying another sea monster of a relatively smaller size. The Black Dragon was sitting imposingly on top of that sea monster, seemingly using his strength to help secure the sea monster's position, preventing the slippery prey on the Gryphon's back from falling to the ground.
Setting aside the Black Dragon's not-so-light weight, the sheer weight of these two meaty sea monsters alone was making the Gryphon nearly unable to bear it. The Gryphon, normally accustomed to soaring freely high in the sky, was now forced to lower its altitude, almost flying close to the treetops and skimming the ground.
