He kept himself composed even when his own footsteps echoing through the corridor surged his heartbeat with exhilaration.
The room he was searching for appeared, and he instantly halted, pushing the two-doors open.
There was an ache in his chest, he did not believe he could get what he wanted. But if this was the chance for him to have it even for a while, he was willing to take the risk of losing his life.
A huge room under dim light was exposed before his steely eyes. He breathed, clenching his jaw, his heart racing and turned his head to find what he was here for, a woman was sitting at the edge of the bed. He could not see her properly.
His heartbeat dropped, the ache in his chest coming up from the box he had it hidden under.
Her body language, her aura seemed like her.
Could it really be her?
While his heart had wavered, his head was spiraling, he maintained his stance, clenching his fists, while she got off the bed and stepped towards him.
As she came closer to him, the sound of her red heels echoing, his world froze. It was really her.
