Rai knew it down to his bones now. There was no rationalizing the way his blood ran hot whenever Zade leaned in close, or how his pulse hammered like a trapped bird behind his ribs every time those dark eyes locked onto his.
He hated Zade. He hated the arrogant, shameless way the bastard took up space in his space, in his head, and in his life.
Yet here he was, sitting here frozen, hands resting against Zade's broad chest, completely paralyzed by the sheer proximity and...waiting. Waiting for him to do whatever he wanted.
Of course Zade didn't move away.
In fact, he lowered himself further, the heat radiating off his freshly showered skin wrapping around Rai like a suffocating blanket.
The faint scent of Rai's own body wash, that crisp, cedar wood and citrus fragrance that now belonged entirely to Zade, filled every breath Rai drew in.
"Make me, make me shut up Rai," Zade whispered.
