"Hey, bastard. Get up."
When Rai finally finished putting the last touches on his lesson plans, he checked the time and decided it was long past lunch. He stood up, stretching his stiff joints, and nudged Zade, who had fallen fast asleep on the couch.
Zade's eyes fluttered open. He offered Rai a heavy, unamused glare for a second before closing his eyes right back up and turning his head away.
Rai didn't bother persisting. Rolling his eyes, he began cursing Zade softly under his breath as he walked away toward the kitchen. What he missed, however, was the slow, wicked smirk that spread across Zade's lips the moment his back was turned.
Honestly, at this point, Rai didn't even need to be half-naked when he complained. He could be covered in heavy winter clothes from head to toe, and it would still be fucking hot for some reason.
