Finally, a waiter finally came over with the menus and Rai honestly wanted to just disappear back into the car.
He did not want to do this.
He did not even want to look at the waiter.
What if he took too long to choose something and the waiter got irritated?
He did not want that.
He would rather-
"Is fried rice okay? They have fish cutlets too. Let's get them, mm?"
Rai blinked and looked up at Zade who was already casually pointing at things on the menu like he had been here a hundred times before.
Rai had not even listened properly to half the things he said.
But the moment he noticed the waiter's attention shift toward him, he immediately nodded anyway.
"Yeah."
God.
This was stressful.
Rai quietly sat there while Zade smoothly told the waiter the order, added a few more things on his own, then handed the menu back with an easy grin that somehow made the waiter smile too before leaving.
Zade really was good at talking to people.
