The next morning, Scarlett arrived on set as usual. The crew greeted her, makeup artists moved around her, and Amanda kept up her cheerful commentary as if the world had not subtly tilted overnight.
But Scarlett noticed the difference immediately.
Julian was already there.
Standing near the monitors, speaking with Arthur Vance, his posture composed, his expression controlled as always.
Except now, Scarlett knew what lay beneath that control.
And that knowledge changed everything.
"Do not stare too much, Miss," Amanda whispered beside her, barely hiding her grin. "People might notice."
