Scarlett Aurora Whitmore came to New York City with big dreams of becoming an artist. Armed with the address of an agency given to her by her stepsister, she left her hometown without knowing that the address was fake and the agency was known as a place full of traps. Her first day in the capital turns into a nightmare when Scarlett falls victim to a pickpocket and loses everything.

"Look at the way Mr. Caldwell looks at her. That's not a business look, that's an 'you belong to me' look," one account wrote, gathering thousands of likes. The hashtag #TeamJulScar began flooding timelines, competing fiercely with the opposing side that remained loyal to #TeamSelena.


"Manipulative," Scarlett muttered softly, reading a comment from one of Selena's devoted fans accusing her of using the Caldwell name to boost the popularity of The Silent Heart. "Clinging to fame… a neat branding strategy."
