Chapter 152: By the Way, Where Am I?
GOD crossed His arms, His black-and-gold armor shimmering under the unfiltered sunlight of the upper atmosphere. The deep, star-filled nebula that served as His face swirled slowly.
"I truly did not expect you to be this powerful. You are a remarkable stowaway from another world."
He turned His head, scanning the void.
"Where is that bald head who exists outside the rules? Did he not come with you? What a pity. I was hoping to wipe you both out at once."
Behind GOD, a massive wave of cosmic radiation had already stained the world purple. Everywhere the energy touched was reduced to a state of absolute silence and desolation.
Hearing GOD's words, the corner of King's mouth curled up. Behind him, the horizon was blanketed in a sea of roaring, crimson vitality, clashing head-on with the cosmic radiation and even beginning to push it back.
At this moment, King's "Strongest Man" aura was off the charts, but the words coming out of his mouth were pure venom:
"You're just a gnat hiding in the shadows. Stop acting like a big shot. Talking about 'wiping us out'? If Saitama were actually in your face right now, you'd probably pee yourself on the spot. Besides..."
King flickered and appeared directly in front of GOD, grabbing His head. A terrifying, irresistible force exploded from his palm.
"I don't think you're capable of beating me. I don't care if you've turned your face into a galaxy or not—it won't change the outcome."
King kicked off the atmosphere, his entire Aura burning like a sun. Gripping GOD's head, he accelerated. The two turned into a streak of scarlet light, shooting away from Earth and into the vacuum of space.
Sensing the movement, GOD immediately deduced King's intent.
This fellow wants to move the battlefield away from Earth... truly a troublesome human...
But if you think you can simply drag ME away with brute force, you are dreaming!
GOD slammed a fist forward. A miniature galaxy seemed to swirl around His knuckles, rippling with destructive energy.
Above the Earth, a silent but violent explosion erupted in the void of space. The shockwave was so powerful it shattered several nearby satellites.
King simply raised his free hand and caught GOD's fist with his palm. His lips moved.
Though there was no air to carry sound in space, King's Aura was so dense it had become a physical medium. GOD heard the name King whispered:
"Blast."
A blood-soaked figure appeared abruptly beside King. The middle-aged man raised a hand to toss away his shattered goggles and grinned, raising both hands:
"Go for it, King! Our Strongest Man! I'm leaving this 'God' fellow to you!!"
That was right. The reason King had arrived a step behind Solar Sperm was that he had taken a detour to rescue Blast first.
Finding him had been simple: King had tracked the residual spatial fluctuations left behind when Blast and Diamond Sperm vanished, then literally tore the dimension open with his bare hands to find the half-dead hero.
King's goal in prioritizing Blast was exactly for this moment.
The moment He saw Blast, GOD stiffened.
The human with the spatial ability... OH NO!!
By the time He reacted, it was too late.
With blood leaking from his eyes, ears, and nose, Blast forcibly manipulated spatial energy far beyond his current capacity, enveloping the two warriors whose power eclipsed his own.
"DIMENSIONAL SHIFT!!!"
Accompanied by a silent roar of energy, the space around King and GOD twisted into a massive vortex. Both vanished from the orbital path of Earth.
Watching the two powerful auras vanish, Blast was left floating alone in the silent stars, his face covered in blood.
He coughed, choking slightly on the metallic taste, but a smile remained on his face.
"I'm getting old... defeating a God... is definitely a job for the new generation."
"Cough! Cough!! Damn, that hurts. Choking on my own blood... great."
Blast's attempt to look cool failed as he succumbed to a coughing fit.
Time to get back to Earth.
Blast raised his hand to trigger a spatial jump, but nothing happened. He squeezed his fingers repeatedly, but the "Dimension" didn't respond. A wave of profound weakness radiated from his soul.
This is bad. I completely drained my spatial reserves with that last jump.
How do I get back now?
Looking at the beautiful blue marble of Earth, Blast floated in the void like a piece of high-tier space junk.
"You look pathetic, Blast. I've never seen you beaten this badly."
A spatial rift opened in front of him. Several figures with obscured faces spoke from the other side, looking at him with amusement.
"Piss off," Blast joked back, though the effort made him wince in pain. "The opponent was GOD himself, plus the strongest Divine Messenger in history. I'm impressive just for being alive."
After a two-second silence, the figures in the rift laughed in unison.
"Fair point. You really are a tough bastard. Let's get you back to Earth; those injuries aren't light."
Blast nodded, finally letting his guard down as he relaxed.
The space around him began to oscillate. He was about to be sent back to Earth—back to the wasteland that used to be City Z.
Suddenly, his teammates' voices echoed in his ears:
"Leaving the actual God to that man called King... are you sure that's okay?"
Hearing this, Blast's smile turned radiant. He gave a shaky thumbs-up.
"I can guarantee it. King will drive that God out. He's much stronger than me!"
Meanwhile, Near Jupiter.
The world-destroying Crimson Dragon was still charging through the cosmos. Though its size had shrunk, its momentum was still terrifying.
Solar Sperm, clamped firmly in the dragon's jaws, couldn't break free. The dragon's teeth, formed from solidified Aura, were as hard as divine iron; no matter how much Solar Sperm attacked them, they wouldn't crack.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! Why can't I even break through this thing?!
Punch after punch, violent energy shockwaves boomed through space, making the void tremble.
Solar Sperm was a God-tier existence, after all. Under his relentless assault, the Crimson Dragon's head finally shattered into a cloud of red fragments.
"Crap! Finally out!"
Solar Sperm cursed, looking at a bloody hole in his abdomen. With a casual wipe of his hand, it was healed.
"By the way... where the hell am I?"
Staring at the massive, swirling surface of Jupiter looming before him and feeling the immense gravitational pull dragging at his body, Solar Sperm was dumbfounded.
Having skipped every astronomy class in his life, he had no idea which planet he had just crashed into.
