Sha's voice was deep. "I'm not interested in her."
Dun scrambled up from the ground, looking rather disheveled. A wicked, punchable smirk played on his lips. "You'd better mean that. I'd rather not fight the Rakshasa King over a woman."
But in his heart, he didn't quite believe him.
A male would never help a strange female unless he had *that kind* of thought about her.
"That little female is absolutely gorgeous—more beautiful than the most beautiful concubine in my harem. I don't believe any male could be uninterested in her. Even I've had lustful thoughts about her. If I could have her bear my child..."
Dun's words stopped there. He felt a sliver of icy killing intent, but it vanished in an instant!
Sha was gone.
Dun froze for a second, then narrowed his long eyes dangerously. A hint of wariness and confusion flickered within them.
'I can't be bothered to dwell on why the Rakshasa King intervened today. In any case, that woman can only be mine. I'm determined to have her!'
