Chapter 195 - Small Fries - Bad Luck - Chapter 195

At 11 PM, Conrad paid his bill and left the bar.

About five young men followed from behind.

Conrad nodded as he kept on walking and intentionally entered some sort of a more of a back alley instead of going through the crowd.

In ten minutes what he expected happened.

"Stop," said one of them.

Conrad stopped and then turned to look at the young man.

At the very most, he should be around seventeen to eighteen.

"It is more of a child than a man," Conrad thought.

"I think you have money," said one of them with a smirk, and they started coming to him.

Two of them went forward, and three of them stayed where they were.

At this stage, both forward and backward were blocked.

"Considering you have money, why not share with us?"

Conrad nodded.

"So, it is cliche; nothing new."

Conrad then asked.

"I would be willing to give you what I have, but let me ask one question."

"I will not resist," he said.

The bald young man looked at the others, who were in direct contact with Conrad, and could not help but feel something is not right.

It is not his first time mugging somebody in this alley. They would be scared shitless most of the time.

Would not be talking like this at all.

"What is it?" He still wanted to know what this man wanted to ask. It would be great if they made money without fighting and beating.

They would prefer that the target just give them what they want and go on his way rather than create chaos.

Conrad then asked.

"Who is the leader of your small gang?"

"I really wonder."

The bald young man spat on the ground and then shook his head.

"You talk too much," he said and then started walking towards Conrad.

Conrad smiled and then, less than half a second later, he hit all but the bald, young man.

From the perspective of the young bald man, his friends were just awake, and now they were sleeping.

"What is this?"

"How did he do that?"

"Am I in a nightmare?" he started asking questions to himself.

What he has seen and encountered is not realistic in his life. He did not know anything about like this at all.

For him, people with guns are already dangerous and scary.

A guy that puts his friends to sleep in a literal blink of an eye is just a fantasy.

Conrad then appeared in front of him and pushed him to the ground from his shoulder.

Picked him up from the ground and placed him against the wall.

"Your friends are not dead; I do not have a problem with you."

"If you talk, you will leave without getting hurt."

"If you don't, I will first kill your friends and then torture you until you die, which I assure you will take long."

The young bald man was terrified of what he heard; he also felt like a kitten carried by the mother.

The power and strength difference is so great that he could not move an inch at all. The reason was not just physical strength; there is also something that he cannot put a name to.

It felt like he was in a forest, surrounded by hungry wolves, and he had no arms or legs to do anything but wait to be devoured alive.

"I-"

"I-"

Conrad smiled and said.

"Just tell me the truth."

"You know, hiding is not going to work. ".

"I am sure what you know is known to the others; after I have fun with you, I can go to them and learn."

"This information I want is not that hidden."

"You have no bargaining power; you should be happy that I am giving you a chance in the first place."

The bald young man finally took a deep breath and spoke.

"We are two hundred small-level gang members; our gang is called Snake Of The Blue Mountain."

"Our leader is named Elden Nasti; he controls the gang with ten other people, each of whom is responsible for twenty gang members like me."

"Each five-man group also has a small leader who points to the target and decides on what to do at each given time."

Conrad nodded.

"Location of the headquarters of this snake you talk about."

The bald young man nodded and said.

"It is on Barger Street, close to the central area; you cannot miss it."

"The Lounge Hotel is the headquarters; the leader does not leave the hotel most of the time."

"Sometimes, he meets with other mysterious leaders and weird people; that is about it."

Conrad nodded.

"Good job." Conrad then made a lightning-fast swing to the neck of the young man and killed him.

He looked at the sleeping ones and then picked up pebbles from the ground and shot at their heads, killing them instantly.

"I would not kill these small-level thugs, as they have a future chance to make things right..."

"But I cannot risk them talking about me and notifying the Light Upon Us through their gang."

"If I don't kill these, I am not only risking my own life but also friends of mine."

"Too bad they have chosen to be modern bandits instead of living their lives like everybody else." Conrad thought and then left the area without wasting any time.

Now that he has a target, he knows what to do.

He believed that any gang that could control two hundred individuals in Blue Mountain City most likely had some sort of relationship with the Light Upon Us.

It is more than likely that it is too small a position or relationship, but it is enough.

At this time, his goal only lay in the fact that he needed to know the Light Upon Us members and their main headquarters, where he could find them.
