After the words of Adex, the people grouped in the mountainside manor, and they were in a meeting room.
The table was circular, and everyone sat down.
The look of them was pretty different from each other in terms of characteristics, but they all wore the same white robes while in the meeting room.
Most of the basic information about the meeting was already given to the members, so they know what the reason for their meeting is.
After understanding that everyone is here, Adex spoke.
"The Hunter Association put a target on us after the attack on their research center and we stole the P-100."
Nobody reacted to these words; it is easy to see that they expected something like this to happen.
Adex continued.
"After I got the information from our trusted source, I gave the mission of assassination to the group leader, who took the mission to Axiol."
"Some of you may remember him."
People nodded and kept on listening.
"Now, I got notified that he is dead."
"It is certain."
These words changed them more, and they all started thinking.
At that time one of them raised his hands.
"Speak, Light," said Adex as he looked at one of his enforcers, brother of Malia.
"The martial progress of Axiol was not that great despite having a great nen ability."
"I am not shocked that he was murdered, but it would be great if we knew that he fought alone against one enemy and was murdered or they attacked him in a group."
Adex and all the others nodded.
For a quasi-member to be a real member of their organization.
They needed to prove themselves to other members.
They all knew about the limits of Axiol and were familiar with him.
So, they were not shocked that he was hunted when he tried to hunt an enemy down.
The second question was more important.
If he was taken by the enemy alone or they needed to group to kill a nen user at the level of Axiol.
If it is the first scenario, then it means that they have some capability to hurt their organization and need to be taken more seriously.
If it is second, then there is nothing to worry about.
If it takes them two or three nen users to take care of a nen user at the level of Axiol, it means that they are not that scary or powerful.
No reason to think more of them.
Adex then added.
"I can not answer that question of yours."
"But I know who has commissioned this man named Conrad Everest to us."
"It is one of the zodiacs, Mizaistom Nana."
"That man is dangerous and intelligent; I guess he is more powerful than the vice-chairman, that blonde guy named Pariston?"
"I do not think the vice chairman of the Hunter Association is that dangerous, as he is only involved in the matters of that more management nature, but still, Mizaistom is dangerous to our organization."
The members nodded and kept on listening.
"In the end, Mizaistom trusted a man named Conrad enough to hunt us down and give him this mission."
"It means that he believes that Conrad has enough power to kill us. Or at least gravely injure us for him to pack up his team and clean the aftermath."
The members again nodded. They believed their leader, despite not calling themselves a cult. It was a cult, and Adex was the point of their cult.
Cult of personality in its most simple form.
"Now."
"They most likely know which country and city we live in, but they do not have the means to find our headquarters or anything."
"But considering they are at least three people."
"Conrad is a floor master himself; it is more than likely that they would have the means to find us."
"Which means we need to be prepared against their attack."
"I am sure if that man named Conrad did not believe he could not take care of us, he would accept this mission in the first place."
As Adex said these words, one of the women in the group raised her hand.
"Speak, Blora."
Blora nodded.
"I can set up defensive and hiding non-objects via my ability."
"As long as we have enough life energy to support my ability, no matter how long they work on it, they cannot find us."
Adex smiled and said.
"But they may have a nen user that can find the location of the group of people by getting connected to one of the members."
"If Malia and Light were to be caught, do you think there is no nen user who can find us from having captured one of our members?"
"The NEN is mysterious and also collective when formed like us."
Blora thought and nodded as she touched her chin.
The members knew what kind of conditions and limitations they were bound by joining Light Upon Us.
This connection and limitations that affected them meant that they were, from the point of view of nen, connected to each other.
If a new user had a similar type of ability to that focused on intelligence gathering, they could very well use one of the members to find the other members.
Such an action, finding people from other people, may be hard for most new users. But when there is a connection of a new team-based ability, it is easier.
Adex then added.
"For the next week, I want people to not leave this mountain, either living in the manor or the wilderness."
"We need more information about the enemy."
"How many of them, what is their combat level, and what nen abilities would be great too?"
"When we get everything, we will act first even if they do not act."
"There is no need to make things last longer at this point."
After Adex said his words, all the members nodded and grinned.
With these words, the meeting has come to an end; other than Light and Malia and the leader, Adex, all the others left.
"What do you think, my leader?" said Light to Adex as he noticed the look on him.
"I watched the battle."
"The battle that Conrad fought in the heavens' arena."
"If that guy came to my doorstep, I would have no chance to fight him in direct combat."
Light gulped and did not know what to say.
