Looking at the first passive I can't help but feel disappointed. Is that it? I thought there would be… more to it?
And again, the term soul appears…
Seeing the words Vessel and soul appear more and more, I'm starting to slightly understand…
My vessel… is my body? I think? And my soul is… me???
'Please stop making me think… I'm just a tiny slugcat trying to survive… not a Philosopher!'
Avoiding my head hurting even further about these 2 words I read over the passive again. It says my soul is resistant to every form of attack? Like attacks to my soul? I didn't even know those were possible…

Not exactly helpful, being resistant to a soul attack won't stop me getting killed by a stray spear throw!
The only time I can think of this really helping was when I first met Inv.
'Hold on… when I got this passive I was able to look at Inv more easily… Does that mean just being around Inv attacked my soul?!' coming to this revelation, things make a bit more sense now.
No wonder I acted the way I did when I first saw him! His presence somehow attacked my own soul! Literally.
So if every creature has a soul… then it would only make sense on to why every creature acts the way it does when they see Inv.
'Ok, I'll take it back. Best passive ever. Please keep resisting Inv's weird barrier thing so he can smother me again.'
'Besides… This might be more helpful in the future. The name does seem pretty imposing.' With this final thought I look at the next passive.
Universal Hatred (Soul)
Effects: Any other Being's soul that perceives you will immediately hate your existence, either kicking in their fight or flight response. It is almost impossible to befriend any existence. Only beings with the same passive are immune.

I actually wonder if this is why I acted the way I did when I first met Inv… it's also funny seeing it say I'm immune to it since I have the same passive. Wasn't the Universal Resistance passive already stopping this from affecting me?
Well, it doesn't matter. With both of these passives I'm completely immune to whatever is happening with Inv. which is better for me…

Something tells me that line of thinking isn't healthy… but being trapped in this world itself isn't healthy so who cares!
Another interesting thing to take from this passive is the fight or flight response. Considering I'm a small normal slugcat. Wouldn't this mean I will always kick in anything's fight response? I'm not exactly the scary type to make creatures run away…
'I wonder if this is the reason I kept getting targeted instead of Inv…' with this thought I slowly believe this to be the case.

This may seem bad… but it could also be helpful? A double edged spear you could say.
If I can distract a lizard to target me, Inv can easily attack them when they're not looking! Or I could be used as a decoy to help Inv escape. This might actually be useful!
'Ok lets look at the next passive'
Invert's Mark (Soul) (Unique) (Incomplete)
Effects: Your Soul Mate can sense where you are at all times.
'S-soul mate?! What does it mean by that?!' Seeing the term soul mate in the passive's effects I feel extremely embarrassed.
I know I accepted being Inv's partner, but the term soul mate seems… much more intimate!

'Soul mate… hehe… I kinda like it~' over time I grow more fond of the term.
This passive is also somewhat different compared to the last 2 I looked at. While it has the same Soul category next to the name it also has 2 more words. Unique and incomplete.
I remember the system saying the passive was Unique when I got it. I assume unique means I'm the only one who can have this passive. The other 2 passives didn't say unique.
But what does it mean by incomplete? Did I not fully get Inv's mark?
When I marked Inv I also got the ability to sense him as well.

But then he also got the strange pink mark on his ear and a part of his face… is that why it's incomplete? Because I don't have a unique mark on me?
The way we marked each other was… pretty different. His mark only came from a moment of blinded defense. While my mark was during a much more… intimate moment with him.
'Didn't something go through my teeth into his ear while I bit him? What was that?' I think back to the moment when I felt something leave me into his ear.
'Pretty hard to not remember when it felt… so good…'
Maybe… that was a piece of my soul? If so, then that means if I want to complete Inv's mark…

The 3 I looked over are ones I got since meeting Inv so seeing another 2 passives means i had these before meeting him.
Death sense (Vessel)
Effect: Moments before death, surroundings appear slowed down while thoughts are sped up giving more time to think.
'Huh, this is actually one I'm familiar with'
I always thought that I only had this happen to me because I became so used to death, but it actually ended up being a passive.
'This time the category is vessel… so that means it affects my body instead of my soul? Guess that makes sense…'
It also sorta sucks though… Even with sped up thinking, a good amount of times I still end up dying anyways. Only sometimes am I able to escape death with this ability.
So most of the time I'm actually dying a more slowed down death due to this passive! How great!
Not wanting to look at this passive any longer I look at the last one.

Effects: ???
Unlock requirements: Can only be unlocked once achieving all 5 goals.
Seeing this last passive I feel stunned. What does this mean?
All there are is a bunch of question marks with a unlock requirement??
What 5 goals? I have a goal here?? This is the first time I've ever heard about this!?
The only real thing I can get from this is its also another passive related to the soul…

'But what goals do I need to achieve?! Why is everything so damn vague with this damn system?!' growing frustrated I exit out of the passives tab.
Looking at it isn't going to help since that's all there is. It is nice to now know what the passives are but that last damn one pissed me off!
