That day, Arianne went to the Water Gardens to find Doran to learn how to rule Dorne, while Oberyn took his lover Ellaria to a brothel to have some fun.
Viserys was rarely alone, so he took a stroll in the small garden of the Old Palace, enjoying a moment of peace. Just then, Nymeria stepped out from behind a tree.
She wore a deep red silk gown with a low neckline, revealing a large expanse of wheat-colored skin. Her hair hung loose, only tied casually at the ends with a thin cord.
"Your Majesty is alone right now?" She raised an eyebrow. "I heard Arianne was called away by Prince Doran for a talk, and it might be quite late."
"What, are you here to keep me company?"
"I'm here to protect you." She approached him with a grin, swaying her hips to reveal the dagger at her waist. "Though this garden is full of Martell men, what if some blind fool decides to disturb..."
Viserys reached out and pinched her chin.
Nymeria's words caught in her throat.
Her eyes, always filled with a sly smile, blinked, and then she laughed. "Your Majesty, you haven't seemed like yourself these past few days. I remember back in Valyria, you were quite the upright gentleman."
"That was then." Viserys let go. "Now, you Dornish women have taught me one thing."
"What?"
"If you want something, just take it."
Nymeria was stunned for a moment, then her smile grew even more radiant.
"Then I'll take some interest first." Saying this, she reached out and grabbed Viserys's lapel, pulling him close and standing on tiptoe to press a kiss onto his lips.
Viserys reached out, cupping the back of her neck, and kissed her back fiercely.
Viserys's movement was sudden, but Nymeria reacted quickly. Her hands began to climb up his waist, her fingers tightening as they drew closer. Her kiss was just like her: direct, passionate, and aggressive.
After a long while, she pulled back slightly, her breath coming in short gasps, but her eyes were full of triumph.
"That's more like it," she said, then took Viserys's hand. "Come, let's go to my room. Tyene is there as well."
Her room was in the Spear Tower on the other side of the garden. It was slightly smaller than Viserys's, but well-decorated. Dornish-style tapestries hung on the walls, brightly colored sheets covered the bed, and several pots of blooming heat-resistant flowers were placed by the window.
Tyene was indeed in the room, wearing a yellow gossamer gown, her long hair braided loosely and hanging over her chest. She was leaning by the window reading a book, looking up as she heard the door open.
Seeing Viserys and Nymeria enter, with Nymeria practically hanging off him, she realized what was happening. Her cheeks instantly flushed crimson, but a flicker of anticipation sparkled in her eyes.
"I..." She was about to speak when Nymeria interrupted her.
"Don't even try to pretend." Nymeria let go of Viserys and walked over to put an arm around Tyene's shoulders. Having been together for so many years, she knew her well. "You've been throwing yourself at him these past few nights; why are you acting shy now?"
Tyene's face turned even redder, but she didn't deny it. She put down her book and stood up, her gentle eyes looking towards Viserys.
Viserys walked over and placed his hands on her shoulders. Her skin was much fairer than Nymeria's and felt more delicate—something he had felt plenty of over the last few days. Being touched by Viserys in broad daylight made Tyene's body tremble slightly.
"Are you afraid?" he asked.
Tyene shook her head, but even her eyelashes were trembling.
Nymeria hugged Tyene from behind, resting her chin on the back of Viserys's hand as she raised an eyebrow at him. "She's like this—appears gentle and delicate, but when we're with Arianne, she's actually the boldest. She just needs someone to take the lead every time."
As she spoke, her hand had already reached past Tyene to grasp Viserys's belt. Her movements were swift; in an instant, Viserys's clothes were loosened.
"Nym..." Tyene called out softly from between them, her voice tinged with shyness, yet she made no move to stop her.
Nymeria bit her ear. "What? You don't want to?"
Tyene didn't speak, only lowering her head slightly, but she didn't leave, nor did she look away from Viserys.
Viserys caught Nymeria's hand as she unbuckled his belt. Nymeria looked up, a flash of surprise in her eyes, but it was mostly a look of near-defiance.
"What?" she said. "Surely Your Majesty hasn't just now remembered how to refuse?"
Viserys didn't answer, but instead pulled her close, pressing her against Tyene, and in the next second, he silenced her with a kiss. However, her tongue darted out almost immediately, and her hands wandered restlessly over his body.
Viserys's hand slid down from the back of her neck, following her spine all the way down to rest at her waist, his fingers hooking into the sash of her deep red gown.
With a tug of Viserys's finger, the deep red silk slid down, revealing the wheat-colored skin beneath. Nymeria's eyes remained fixed on him, filled with a touch of triumph.
Viserys turned and swept her up in his arms. Nymeria's arms circled his neck, her legs swinging lightly in the air. She turned her head to look at Tyene, who stood there dazed, shocked by the two of them.
"Aren't you coming?" she said.
Tyene walked over to them. Her face was even redder, but when she looked at Viserys, her gaze became even more fervent.
Viserys laid Nymeria on the bed, her body sinking into the soft mattress. She reached out and grabbed Viserys's robe, pulling him toward her.
"What are you waiting for?" she whispered.
Viserys leaned down, his kisses falling on her collarbone and moving downward. Nymeria's breathing grew more rapid, but her eyes held a look of satisfaction.
Tyene stood by the bed, her fingers tightly clutching her hem. Watching the two on the bed, her own breathing quickened. She saw Viserys look up and reach out a hand to her.
"Come here," he said.
Tyene bit her lower lip and released her grip on her hem. The dark green gossamer slid off, revealing her fair skin and slender frame. She climbed onto the bed, kneeling beside Viserys, her fingers lightly touching him.
The touch made her heart race even faster; she could feel the ripple of his muscles and the heat beneath his skin. Nymeria leaned forward, reaching out to take Tyene's hand and pulling her closer.
"Don't be afraid," she whispered. "Look at me."
Tyene watched her quietly, and then she felt Viserys's hand gently easing her down onto the bed.
