"Or someone constructed it entirely," Damon added. "Fabricated lineage, fabricated documentation, timed specifically to destabilize the reform when it's vulnerable."
Raphael pulled out another set of documents. "I've requested Fae Court records from their territorial archives. If Lysander Thornwood's lineage is genuine, there should be corroborating records. If it's fabricated, we should be able to find inconsistencies."
"How long until those records arrive?" Eve asked.
"Two days, if the archive cooperates quickly," Raphael said. "Fae territorial politics can be... complicated. They may not prioritize expediency."
Eve rubbed her temples, feeling the beginning of a tension headache building. Five days felt increasingly insufficient given the complexity they were uncovering.
