The square fell into dead silence. No one had expected that the man many joked about as a strange beast would become the only one to draw one of the 'Seven Deadly Sins'.
Even more shocking, the blade drawn by someone who trained himself like a madman every day was 'Gluttony'.
Shikaku Nara stared at Might Guy holding 'Gluttony', then looked at the smiling Yunchuan Hyuga with an astonished expression.
"Gluttony, Guy, how is that possible?" he asked. "Yunchuan, how did you see this?"
Yunchuan Hyuga only smiled and thought about the origin of 'Seven Deadly Sins'.
The concept of 'Seven Deadly Sins' came from the Bible, made up of the Old Testament and the New Testament. They were called original sins because their Essence tried to replace the central position of God.
Because these seven sins twisted the rules created by God and broke the order between humans and God, and between humans themselves, they were named original sins. For example, one of the 'Seven Deadly Sins', 'Gluttony'...

In the Bible, the body is given by God. It is the temple and home of the spirit, meant to serve and glorify God, while humans are only stewards.
The opposite of 'Gluttony' is restraint, meaning control over the body and cautious self-discipline. As Proverbs says, those who love wine and meat will fall into poverty.
If what one receives is not enough, that is not God's problem. It is God asking one to practice restraint, to be content and grateful instead of demanding more.
Thus, 'Gluttony' is not only about uncontrolled craving for food. It also means dissatisfaction with everything God has given.
'Gluttony' becomes an original sin because the one who commits it is not satisfied with the body or circumstances granted by God and defies divine authority. This dissatisfaction shows itself through material excess, such as overeating, which is a physical form of trespass and rebellion.
It is like saying that what God has given is not good or not enough, so one will satisfy oneself by one's own means.
God, or more precisely Deity, hopes that humans will wait like plants for rain from the sky. Whether thunder or rain falls, it is all grace.
Might Guy was born without talent in Chakra. Even knowing he lacked talent compared to others, he ignored cold looks and mockery and struggled on to gain more to satisfy himself.
With such traits, Might Guy committed the original sin of 'Gluttony'.

'Greed' is excessive craving and hoarding of wealth, money, or resources, denying God's sovereignty as the true owner of all wealth. As Luke says, life does not consist in abundance of possessions.
On this point, Yunchuan Hyuga could not argue. He had always desired more wealth, status, and power.
Jealousy hates the grace God shows to others and wishes others to lose it or oneself to take it, denying God's wisdom in granting gifts. As in Genesis, Cain killed Abel out of jealousy because Abel's offering was favored.
