Chapter 119 - Cooperation with the Hidden Sand Village

Looking at the ninjas coming and going, constantly capturing Wind Scorpions from the desert and transporting them into the village, a strange smile suddenly appeared on Simu's face.

This scene was just like a game where players needed to constantly complete daily quests and then return to the guild to exchange them for rewards.

If this Shinobi World were treated as a game, what would I be?

A hidden boss in the game?

Or some NPC?

Or perhaps a player?

Such an amusing thought suddenly popped into Simu's head.

After a period of serious reflection, Simu felt that neither boss, NPC, nor player seemed to accurately summarize him.

If I had to say, I should be considered...

A kind of computer virus?

Simu scratched his nose, suddenly amused by his own thought.

The young female clerk nearby suddenly leaned her head over. "Chairman, what are you looking at?"

Simu lightly caught the unique fragrance emanating from the girl and said calmly, "Nothing, just thought of something interesting."

"Hmph, the Chairman just loves being mysterious."

The girl pouted. Before she could say anything more, another customer entered the door. She hurriedly ran over to attend to them.

Looking at the girl's energetic appearance, Simu smiled knowingly.

Being young is truly nice.

The girl's name seemed to be Shana Chizuko, quite a pleasant name.

Business in the shop was simply too busy, to the point where Simu had to hire several clerks to help entertain the guests. If he were by himself, it would be inevitable to provide poor service.

Simu withdrew his gaze and turned back to lean against the window, bathing in the sunlight. This lazy feeling was actually quite nice to experience once in a while.

It had been nearly two months since Kawanishi offered the secret technique and became a Special Jonin.

The testing and experiments regarding the Scorpion Jade secret technique were already quite complete. However, the Fourth Kazekage Rasa seemed to still have some lingering misgivings and had not popularized it on a large scale.

Perhaps he wanted to wait for the results of Baki's investigation into the Wind Scorpion swarms.

Simu didn't really mind this. At worst, he could just gift a Broodmother Nest to the Hidden Sand Village. That would perfectly allow his signal range to cover the interior of the village.

However, he would probably need to find a suitable excuse at that time, such as setting the Broodmother Nest as a super-ancient creature left behind by some ancient ruins.

Simu pushed up his glasses and continued to lazily watch the people walking on the streets.

What a beautiful world.

Unfortunately, Simu's leisure did not last long because the Anbu ninjas finally came knocking.

The Spider Lily Company had been popular in the Hidden Sand Village for so long, and with the potency of the Food Pills being so strong, it naturally attracted Rasa's attention.

"Are you Mr. Simu? Our Lord Kazekage invites you over for a moment."

The two Anbu ninjas displayed a level of politeness that Anbu usually didn't show in front of Simu.

Simu pushed up his glasses. There was no trace of anger on his face from having his leisure disturbed. He still wore a faint smile, warm like a sun that never set.

"It is my absolute honor."

"This way, please."

The two Anbu ninjas bowed slightly. Even these ninjas who had always lived in the darkness couldn't help but yearn for the sunshine radiating from Simu.

Upon arriving at the Kazekage Building and undergoing a simple inspection, Simu was quickly granted an audience with Rasa.

"Mr. Simu."

"Lord Kazekage."

"Please, have a seat."

Rasa reached out a hand, signaling Simu to sit wherever he liked. This was almost the most goodwill this cold Kazekage could possibly show.

Simu took a sip of the tea brought over by the assistant and inquired, "I wonder what instructions Lord Kazekage has for calling me here?"

Rasa's personality was much like his appearance: cold and direct. He was not the type to engage in polite small talk.

Upon hearing Simu's question, he went straight to the point. "To tell you the truth, our Hidden Sand Village is extremely interested in the Food Pills sold by the Spider Lily Company. I wonder if Mr. Simu is providing similar goods to other ninja villages?"

The quality of the Spider Lily Company's Food Pills was far superior to ordinary ones. The Yang Style chakra contained within was a life-saving medicine during certain critical moments on the battlefield!

After all, this is the painstaking effort of our Great Lord Jashin.

Furthermore, according to the research by the Hidden Sand Medical Department, no harmful substances were found in these Food Pills. Even the analyzed materials were all-natural, consisting of some herbs and insect shells. Every component was quite normal.

Therefore, it was only natural for the Hidden Sand Village to increase its procurement from the Spider Lily Company. Ideally, they wanted to reach a special agreement with the company to stop supplying this medicine to other countries to achieve a monopoly.

Simu had already guessed Rasa's purpose before coming.

"Recently, there are plans to export to villages like the Hidden Leaf. Lord Kazekage should be able to understand; after all, our goods should be quite sought after in the Shinobi World."

Rasa did not refute this statement. Although the price was much higher, the effect was truly outstanding. Forget the Hidden Leaf, even in the context of the entire Shinobi World, these would be strategic materials that every country would scramble for.

That is, unless someone could develop a new type of Food Pill that surpassed Spider Lily in both efficacy and cost-effectiveness. However, looking at the development of the medical field in recent years, Rasa did not see any hope of that for the time being.

He sat up straight and said seriously, "If possible, I hope to cooperate with the Spider Lily Company to supply these medicines exclusively to the Hidden Sand Village."

Simu leaned back in his chair and gently pushed his glasses. "If Lord Kazekage is worried about other villages becoming stronger by obtaining these Food Pills, then it is entirely unnecessary."

"Oh?"

Rasa's eyes fell on Simu, waiting for his next explanation.

Simu did not disappoint Rasa and directly threw out another method of cooperation.

"Lord Kazekage, I have another method of cooperation here."

"The Spider Lily Company and the Hidden Sand Village will reach a strategic partnership. A headquarters will be established in the Hidden Sand Village to produce the medicine, which will then be sold throughout the Shinobi World under the protection of the Hidden Sand. The profits will be split fifty-fifty."

"All goods researched by the Spider Lily Company will be unconditionally supplied to the Hidden Sand Village for priority use and cannot be sold to third parties first. As a condition, the Hidden Sand Village must satisfy all requirements for the company's research and development, including but not limited to providing various materials and test subjects."

"Furthermore, if a war breaks out between the Hidden Sand Village and other villages, the Hidden Sand will obtain the priority purchasing rights for all products of the Spider Lily Company."

"How does that sound?"

Simu spoke a great deal and conveniently handed the prepared contract to Rasa.
