Watching the chaotic battle between Gorr's minions and the Gods of various realms below, Kytheron's system panel slowly advanced the progress of the Ragnarok mission.
"Gorr the God Butcher, so you are the one instigating this new Ragnarok. I just wonder if your methods are strong enough, and if your body can take a beating!"
Kytheron merely sighed to himself as he watched Hela charge at Gorr with her sword.
Hela was not as indecisive as Thor; her decisive and ruthless methods were fitting for her title as the Goddess of Death.
Therefore, upon learning that someone dared to hunt Gods, Gorr was already as good as dead in Hela's eyes!
Kytheron, meanwhile, remained standing idly in the void, watching the show, even though everything happening now ultimately originated from him!
To be honest, none of the Gods of the Nine Realms in Kytheron's current eyes were worth fighting. If he got slightly serious, a single punch could annihilate them all!
So, the battle below might have looked like a war of Gods, but in Kytheron's eyes, it was not much different from a street brawl among ordinary people.
Even a peak God King like Zeus, the pinnacle of a Pantheon, who even established the so-called Pantheon, could not break through that boundary in his entire life to become a truly immortal Cosmic God.
If one cannot achieve immortality, then one is ultimately just an ant!
Gorr was currently wantonly harvesting the lives of Gods, and his Black Death Sword was frantically devouring the divine power essence of every fallen God.
Just then, a black longsword flew through the air, heading straight for Gorr's face.
"Bang!"
Gorr blocked with his sword, deflecting the incoming blade.
However, in the next second, a dark green figure appeared before him, holding a black longsword identical to the one that had just flown past.
"God Butcher! What a grand title."
"Don't think that just because you killed a few useless Gods you can disregard all Gods!"
Hela spoke to Gorr with a chilling and icy tone.
"Who are you?"
Because Hela was sealed away early and hadn't caused much stir after her release, Gorr actually didn't recognize her.
"You don't know me? Aren't you supposedly hunting all the Gods in the Universe?"
Hela said menacingly.
"I'm not interested in your identity, but since you've appeared on this battlefield of Gods, there's only one fate awaiting you: to become prey beneath my sword."
Gorr tilted his head slightly, speaking these words with a morbid tone.
Seeing this, Hela said no more. She threw the Night Sky Sword in her hand like a dart at Gorr, then ran both hands over her head, and her wild long hair instantly transformed into a crown—this was Hela's battle form.
Gorr felt a genuine surge of anger facing Hela, a Goddess who, instead of fleeing, dared to confront him.
His great name, God Butcher, had long struck terror into countless Gods!
Along his path, seeing so many once-exalted Gods fall at his feet, becoming cold corpses, Gorr's heart, betrayed by the Gods, indeed felt immense pleasure.
However, none of this was enough to compensate for the pain of watching his wife, daughter, and kinsmen die one by one before his eyes.
The Gods he revered didn't even spare a glance for their devout worshippers who sincerely served and prayed.
If Gods were unjust, then he would drag them down from their pedestals and trample them under his feet.
Especially his Black Death Sword; all Gods who saw it seemed to be filled with dread, and now he had encountered a reckless fool who wasn't afraid of Death.
Then Gorr and Hela began their great battle.
"I thought the God Butcher was more formidable. Turns out he's nothing special. It seems the Gods who died by your hand truly were useless!"
After exchanging blows, Hela mocked him with some disappointment.
Gorr's fighting style indeed left her somewhat disappointed; his strength, speed, and combat techniques were all utterly pathetic to her.
In truth, when it came to combat techniques, Hela, who once served as Odin's vanguard in conquering the Nine Realms, was far superior to Gorr, who gained his power by constantly killing and usurping others.
Thus, after only a few dozen rounds of combat, Gorr had sustained several injuries, while he hadn't even touched Hela's clothes.
However, Gorr was now almost one with the Black Death Sword, so the minor injuries he sustained instantly healed under the sword's full restorative power.
"You are the only one among all the Gods I've encountered who dares to clash with this God-slaying sword in my hand. You must be a notable figure among the many Gods!"
"Now, you are worthy of telling me your name. After I kill you, I will engrave your name in the Shadow Realm."
Upon hearing Gorr's words, Hela sneered disdainfully: "Kill me? Should I tell you that Death is my divine name?"
As Asgard's Goddess of Death, Hela had lived for a long time, and Death was what she dealt with most!
Whether it was her inherent Death attribute or the countless enemies she slew during her campaigns across the Nine Realms.
Gorr's eyes narrowed after hearing Hela's words.
Although he had slaughtered quite a few Gods, he hadn't yet encountered one whose divine domain was Death, which made him even more eager to send Hela to her Death!
However, Gorr now understood that it was impossible for him to gain an advantage over Hela through a one-on-one fight, so he plunged his Black Death Sword into the ground before him.
Instantly, endless shadows spread, and countless monsters scrambled out of the shadows, vying for position.
"Hmph! Do you think only you can find cannon fodder?"
"I am the Goddess of Death, the ruler of the Realm of Death. Let me show you my Asgardian Undead Warriors."
Hela sneered when Gorr, without a word, prepared to use a mob tactic against her!
After condensing a ball of dark green Fire in her hand, Hela violently threw it forward. The Fire instantly exploded, and a portal connecting to the Realm of the Dead was opened.
"Awooo!"
Before anything emerged from the portal, a wolf's howl, echoing across the Universe, was heard.
In an instant, everyone on the entire battlefield instinctively looked towards Hela.
The next moment, a gigantic figure burst out of the portal, tearing apart the monsters before it with an enraged, gaping maw.
"Good boy! Crush them!"
Looking at Fenrir, Hela felt as if she was back on the battlefield thousands of years ago.
Suddenly, the battle became even more chaotic!
However, Hela's objective was very clear; her only opponent in her eyes was Gorr the God Butcher.
At this moment, in a distant galaxy, a group of massive Celestials, thousands of meters tall and clad in heavy armor, suddenly turned their gaze towards the location of the Nine Realms.
"The aura of a deceased First Celestial has appeared. Find him, and destroy all beings attempting to pry into the Celestials' secrets."
With this command, the members of this Celestial group, scattered throughout the Universe, swiftly traversed space and headed towards the Nine Realms.
