Just then, Corinne Linden emerged from the crowd and asked curiously, "Ethan, what's going on?"
Ethan Kingsley's cold gaze swept over her. "Someone bullied my Little Cutie," he said, his tone softening, "and I intend to find out who."
"Is that so? Well, you'll have to investigate thoroughly then." Corinne Linden's eyes were fixed on Ivy Tanner. For some reason, she felt there was something strange about the look in Ivy's eyes.
Ethan Kingsley turned to the others and called out a few more times, but still, no one came forward.
"Fine. So no one's stepping forward, is that it? Seth Payne, check the surveillance footage." At his command, Seth Payne immediately left to do as he was told.
A woman hiding at the back of the crowd saw how agitated Ethan Kingsley was and, consumed by guilt, didn't dare to step forward. At the thought of her actions being exposed, she could not linger any longer and immediately turned to flee.
