Harrison Lynch said he had found crucial evidence at West Suburbs Park and urged her to come over at once.
The drive took nearly 40 minutes, and Claire Sinclair finally arrived at West Suburbs Park.
When she arrived, she saw Harrison Lynch's portly frame slumped on the grass from a distance, and she couldn't tell what he was doing.
Claire Sinclair walked over and asked, "President Lynch, what are you doing?"
Harrison Lynch flinched and slowly turned his head. "Reporter Sinclair," he said, his voice hoarse, "I found the hair clip I gave Yvonne."
As he spoke, he held up a tarnished silver hair clip and slowly got to his feet.
Claire Sinclair frowned. "A hair clip isn't enough to be used as evidence."
"..." Disappointment filled Harrison Lynch's eyes.
Claire Sinclair added, "President Lynch, let's find a place to sit down. Tell me everything you know."
Harrison Lynch nodded, and they moved to a quiet bench in the park.
