Just as she was lost in thought, Tristan Tanner suddenly walked up beside her. "We still haven't caught a few of them," he said in a low voice. "They probably heard what was happening and went into hiding. It'll take some time to round them up. I've already posted a warrant online, so someone should provide a lead soon."
"Officer Tanner, you're incredibly efficient. No wonder Mr. Quincy recommended I come to you," Claire Sinclair marveled.
Tristan Tanner shrugged it off. "Catching criminals is my duty. If I'm too slow, they'll get away, so I have to be quick. Is there anything else, Reporter Sinclair? If not, you can head back."
Claire Sinclair nodded. "When I get back, the first thing I'll do is write an editorial to advocate for Yvonne Judd and steer the public narrative back on track. After that, I'll need the police to release the truth. We'll have to coordinate our efforts to put a stop to the flood of rumors online as quickly as possible."
